same pestilence black folks suffer for being minority

Apples and oranges.

Black people have never agitated for a break up of the world (or America) because they're a minority, or because their candidate lost an election.

Ibos killed the most respected northern leaders, and proceeded to gloat about it.

Were you expecting a hug in return?

Consequences.

and there was a counter coup to 'balance', I believe every other was an excess. And that going away was the very rational(bearing in mind that there is free will under democracy)

It's not wrong to recall that Igbos were murdered , as long as you also recall that Igbos started the assassinations and coup de tat in this country

Otherwise you would be nothing but a myopic hypocrite
I believe the 'counter' coup was the 'balance' and that every other action was very very much in excess

I guess not, in as much as you (and your ilk) are willing to recall and admit that the ibo coupists of January 1966 were wrong in killing leaders (both military and political) of other regions whilst coincidentally sparing theirs.

It was totally wrong of them to arrogate to themselves the roles of prosecutor, judge, jury and executioner of our nascent democracy at the time.

Lobatan!!!

And Lt. Oyewole, Captain Adeleke and Major Ademoyega who were major participants in the so called coup were French abi?

We all know that the bloodletting did not start with the first coup. The 1945 Jos killings, the 1953 Kano riots, 1964/65 fallouts. Igbos have been butchared long before the first coup of January 1966
