anonimi: You can imagine this coming from our no 1 image maker. You know in the Nigerian context, old men are expected to always say the truth but this old man is not an ordinary old man. He has to realize that diplomacy is all about placing your country in an advantageous position. Pmb lacks tact. Abraham Lincoln described tact as the ability to describe others as they see themselves. That's apt. Warren W. Wiersbe said and I quote, " truth without love is brutality, and love without truth is hypocrisy." Balance is key in leadership. If you are too sweet people will swallow you, and if you are too bitter people will spit you out. Moderation is vital. 1 Like 1 Share |

The way oil blocks/wells are allocated here in Nigeria is unfair. In most cases abroad, it's the family that owns the land that have authority over the pockets of oil in it. They can decide to make it a family business or sell it out to investors, thereby making the people benefit and enjoy the dividends. Most Arabian and Texan families are rich because of such policies. Our things are always different, greed and power insatiable people. |
