Seriously Saint Buhari needs to be more transparent about his personal finances. He still hasn't done a public declaration of his assets nor directed top government officials to do same. With his current court battle over WAEC certificate, the maths just doesn't add up. MATHEMATICS OF THE DAY! How much is Buhari's basic annual salary? N14m. How much does a SAN charge for his legal fee? N150m. Some even charge as much as N250m. Junior counsels charge most times N5m to N10m. How many years has Buhari stayed in office? 1 year and 3 weeks. How many SANs did Buhari hire to defend him in court? 13. How many junior counsels did he hire to represent him?; 10. Now, I want you to do the mathematics. Multiplying how much he has earned as total salary and allowances since he came in, the total amount the SANs and junior counsels he hires are worth and then tell us where Buhari is getting the billions he is paying to SANs to defend him over ordinary WAEC Certificate. 1 Like
