Yep, only Nigerians will believe a mallam who sits on a throne (supplied by former PDP and now APC criminal elements like Tinubu) can save Nigeria.

Well I suppose we are talking about the same mumu people who believe they will go to heaven and paradise when they die.

what makes you think im Yoruba?... perhaps by my ideology and bloodline..ok then.

Nevertheless, Fashola have 3 critical portfolios combined under him,
none of those above mentioned could handle just one assigned to them successfully so far.

Kemi Adeosun is walking on a thin line, however shes been pulling her punches despite the harsh resistance.

Stop viewing this critical roles through the tribal prism and grant him/her the cap fits please.

Simple and precise, one would have expected this eminent Nigerians to have a better understanding of the current challenges the country is facing rather we are seeing the same pedestrian understanding of issue. Their advice would have made more impact if it highlighted particular areas of concern and point out what needs to be done.

Even cretineous imbeci1 would tell you elections had been rigged significantly ... Yar'adua even admitted to this during his election, but knowing Ugu hawkers knack for fraud and criminal vice, you would naturally defend electoral malfeasance in addition to your love for corruption. God indeed will do the needful to those who bring pains to the masses, but unfortunately for your myopic ethno-centric mindset, those who looted the country blind will be the first in line for God's punishment, those who sabotaged the war against Bokoharam and at the same time pretending my ambition is not worth anyone's life but worth every penny stolen, those who wanted to make Somalia look like a paradise in comparison to Nigeria when he is done with it, those who continue to sabotage oil facility because they lost an election and those who support them for the same blind reason, those who sabotage electrical supply by disrupting gas pipelines , ...etc. Sorry chukz, God is not an beerfraud man who is out to work in the service of bigots and their lackeys.

I better not see any stupid comments like pray for Nigeria. Actually do something instead of praying to your grave. Is there not a way the citizens can kick out Buhari?

How long will you keep saying this nonsense? Is stealing not going on in Buhari's administration? Burutai bought homes in Dubai 6 months after his appointement, not to mention dogara and others.. The fact is Buhari is clueless, accept that so you can sleep well at night

The most painful truth we have been dodging is the fact that this general Casandra can not be removed through the ballot.
1. There won't be free and fair election come 2019.
2. The desperate dullard has never accepted he lost any election even when he wasn't even the President.
Hopefully God will do the needful to the bringer of pains to the masses even before 2019.

My bro! I've asked myself this same question a lot of time. How sure are we that this man/APC government will givve us a credible election like GEJ. The elections handled under his watch as we all can see has been filled with inconsistency and irregularities.

These so called Eminent Nigerians are afraid to hit the nail on the head, the problem being faced by Nigerians are not absolutely from the ministers underperforming, but solely Buhari's, only SAN Olisa Agbakoagba almost said the truth. Buhari is not accepting inputs from the ministers, he want things done his way, no free hands for the ministers to operate because he does not trust them all even the VP, the results are what we,re seing now.
The way out is for buhari to resign, or we buckle up for more hardships until another Babangida will save us from this buharific situation we found ourselves.

Very foolish post. Is it because Buhari won elections that is why he promised to suffer the 5% voters? Because Buhari won election that is why he rushed to shut down the marine university? Is that why all the oil blocks in the south south should be owned by the northerners? Anufia. Why am I wasting time with this dunce aboke people sef?

on this note fellow Nigerians

let us form a new party, under the auspices and tentacles of Nairaland...

I do believe that we have amazing technocrats on this forum, who by way of speech and reasoning can proffer solutions to the numerous challenges facing us as a country..

we can start now and make a brand new ending....after all, we are all citizens and we are protected by the constitution "to vote and be voted for"

Dear Nairalanders, we can take over Nigeria democratically by 2023 if we start now!!!

Enough of the blame games
Enough of ethnic bigotry and tribal aversions.... it would do us no good
Enough of name checking and misguided slandering of one tribe compared to the other
Enough of division across religious lines and unhealthy sentimentalism

We have got what it takes.....Mr SEUN, lalasticlala, tosyne2much, fynestboi, LadyF, etc...let's rally round and take the bull by the horn...

An Abdullahi can work hand-in-hand with an Osewa, with the full support of a Chukwuma, a Salisu, an Abubakar,a Timpreye, an Agbakoba, an Effiong..... and we would all be better for it......

if we could all on Nairaland donate #1000 every month, by 2019....we would have made geometric progress..

just doing some critical thinking here....as a progressive NIGERIAN youth....

Reference:

Told you folks a couple of years ago, that democracy is all about 'the people', not the leaders. Countries are built by 'people', prospered by people, and in reverse are destroyed by 'the people'. Nigeria is what it is today because of the quality and qualities of its people. I told someone a couple of days ago that anyone doing a 'pray for Nigeria' is just wasting his energy because there are spiritual laws governing territories and they relate to the inhabitants. You could pray all you wish back then for the city of Sodom but the law said it will be destroyed 'because the INHABITANTS' sinned exceedingly to the Lord'. On the other hand atheist communities that did justice were naturally endowed with prosperity.

Folks, Buhari cannpt do more than the system permits him to do. If the system is unjust, Nigeria will continue in steady decline like we have all witnessed since independence. We cannot continue sinning againdt one another and expect this country to change. Even if the sun breaks through the cloud of depressed oil prices once a while, true development and long lasting peace, prosperity and security will never be our portion under this structure.

Now we have seen the limitations of supermen leaders, I hope we will begin to build our institutions and make the sacrifices for a better Nigeria.

This is the most accurate diagnosis of the Nigerian dilemma I have ever seen, both on-line & off.

Borrowing is not a problem . Even China with trillions of dollars in foreign reserve also borrows because they pay a lower interest rate by borrowing and higher interest on thier reserve. When ur economy is robust and vibrant you can Borow.
Also china or any developed country can not borrow for recurrent expenditure however low the interest rate.
