The first son of Senator Stella Oduah has died at a Turkish private hospital in Abuja due to the wrong prescription by a medical doctor; SaharaReporters has learned.

Senator Oduah's son, whose name was given as Maxwell Chinedu Etoromi, died yesterday after he took a wrong medication prescribed for him following a tooth surgery.

SaharaReporters learned that the 28-year-old graduated from Guildford College in the UK before returning to Abuja.

Ms. Oduah served in the Goodluck Jonathan administration as a Minister of Aviation before running for a seat in the Nigerian Senate.

Didn't see where Pharmacist was mentioned in DAT writeup. Most Hospitals in a bid to cut costs just engage the services of nurses who barely know about drug interactions to dispense medications and in d process avoidable deaths end up taking lives. Rest in Peace.

There is a difference between a wrong prescription and an adverse drug reaction.
If it were really a wrong prescription, Senator Oduah is powerful enough to put that hospital out of business.

Oga o. Toothache that one local chewing stick sold for 50naira ( oorin ata in Yoruba) likely can cure and now surgery probably to remove it and later wrong prescription. It is well with the family especially the parents.
the pain of loosing ones first born after several years of labour will be far from us all. Amen!

Boasting that he/she is a doctor when they don't know Jack. Many have gone to the great beyond because of incompetent doctors. Don't blame those that travel out for medical attention much
