That's where you are getting it wrong. The women you see changing their skin color on a daily basis, aren't actually doing so because they took a statistical assessment of what skin colors Nigerian men prefer, they are doing it, because society has conditioned them to believe that dark skin is inferior to the lighter skin tones, particularly through media: the cosmetic adverts, the music videos, the magazines, the fashion blogs, etc.

There are many men who prefer dark skin to light skin. But the minds of these women, have been reconfigured to adopt the notion, that men would prefer them if they were lighter.

I prefer dark skin to light skin. Explorers, formerly sile12, a very popular and inspirational Nairalander, early this year, got married to an extremely beautiful dark skin lady, and guess what? He is light skinned. What I gave you, is proof, and you are throwing terms like generally all around your post, when you've got no proof whatsoever to back up your claims.
