Probably, the ex-CBN Governors have insiders in the Presidency who have briefed them of the impending probe. Hence, their recent simultaneous comments. If not, why has it taken so long to comment on the state of the economy? And why not go and meet the President and his economic team to advise them about the economy? Soludo and Sanusi are statemen. They can't be denied access to PMB. Leadership is a very difficult task.

If the government want to probe them, no problem they can go ahead. However, they should look at their advise to the government. These are priviledged financial experts who have managed the government bank, CBN for a reasonable period and as such have priviledged information and you can not just throw out their advise.

I beg the president and the presidency, the country is dying. Even if PDP, your worst enemy gives you advise now, look at the advise. If you succeed, the credit will go to you not even the adviser beside you are not paying for the advise.
