We submited our applicatn 29th August,my wife as principal applicant while me and our baby as dependant,up till now no feedback,status hasn't changed,and school starts 26 September,what could be the issue,we all have travel history to the UK.
Any advice will be highly appreciated

I also submitted on d 29th of August,when I called Dem on Tuesday I was told dey r just processing applications submitted on d 25th n dat it will soon be d turn 4 applications submitted on 29th. I also told Dem abt d deadline wich was formally next week Monday(26th),I was advised 2 ask 4 extension 4RM my school n thank God dey've extended my deadline to 3rd.n I'm sure if I dn't get my visa dis week,den it will surely b next week.

I submitted mine in Lagos n I'm still @ lag, hopefully dey dispatch it fast enough but I've got nothing 2 worry abt cos if I dn't get it dis week den it will surely b next week cos my deadline has been postponed.

after calling them up to 30times without them picking. They finally picked and the lady said that they are now sending Abj applications to Lagos for now and they r still on August applications. She gave me their Lagos number which has been busy, I gave up after trying for about 2hrs before giving up. I no de understand this people o

My dad just branched there on his way back from Victoria Island and they told him they're expecting new Consignments today ( new Batches of Processed documents) I'm sure ours will be in there!! Surely! And they said 100% unfailingly we should have them visas on Monday. My friend also called them this morning and they said the same thing. I hated these people before but now, I love them!

@ Te-amo, I submitted on the 13th of this month. My Friend that submitted the previous week got his after 7 days. I'm going to Cardiff University. @ Rabidvirus, the only airlines that I know of that go to Glasgow from Nigeria are Emirates, KLM and I think Air France and Luftansa. You'll have to weigh the price options yourself ( Funny enough I applied to glasgow before but I changed my mind)

@Te-amo flights on British airways and virgin (Direct flights)are always available but there are several other connecting flights, just try using their websites to check for your preferred dates, most times the prices varies for diff dates so just do the combination well online and check with your travel agent to know the one that is cheaper.

I have not been to those cities but i'm sure you will get Nigerian food though expensive but you will get it, even Asian shops sales African foods, so you wouldn't have prob.

@justwise, Thanks, There is no harm in trying, I always carry suya for my friends when i travel so I will know how to package any foodstuffs. Pounds too cost pass to go pay high prices for african food

@teeamo, Good to know the visa will be ready by next week coz I applied too on the 29th in Lagos. Luckily for me my start date is on the 3rd of October
@princedm, I schooled in aberdeen uni, there are reataurants where u can eat naija food, only dat it is quite expensive, like 9 pound for a plate, dere even opened a naija eatry at robert gordon uni, asian shops are also available to buy food stuff but again, I have to reiterate on d word expensive, hehe
