No one have mentioned major areas like Maitama, Asokoro, wuse, Banana island,lekki, vitoria island etc. Even the investment going on currently in Lagos free trade zone alone is more than the most expensive project in kenya since independence. Over $20 billion dollars from just one of the investors and all will be completed by 2019. I havent mentioned Eko Atlantic, centenary city, etc. Kenyans are real defination of stupidity.

From this thread the only achievement i have noticed majority of Nigerians take pride in are other peoples money...... the expression that we have billionaires like Dangonte while they themselves cannot even be grouped in the middle class of their poor villages. Or showing us malls patronized by South African investors. The only reason this thread has taken too long to conclude is the fact that no Nigerian has come out to show us the extent that its goverment has tried improving on terms of Infrastructure beyond Lagos or Abuja. The improvement of their health facilities, a reformed education system or a economic growth beyond their natural resources.

Nigeria shouldn't be arguing that they are the giants of Africa. Giants don't argue, everyone can see a giant a mile away, giants walk in the room and everyone disappears, page 131 and giants are still convincing underdogs

the LFTZ , China plans to build, 3 oil refineries,1 petro chemical plant, and the other factories all totaling that $20billion... Those are more than 10 projects... Its not a single project, the $13B railway in Kenya is one single project to build a rail infrastructure alone.... Saying LFTZ as a single project is also like saying our Lapsset project which will cost $30billion is one single project, when in reality there are like 15 projects all in one, there is the roads, pipeline,refinery,1200MW hydro dam, refinery and 3 resort hotel cities ... At the beginning of this year, the projects were $50 billion worth of investments (mind you, we are merely a $65Billion economy, and those are govt projects only), there is no telling how much more investmets will be announced in January... Once addittional megawatts are added to the grid, cause right now they have agreed that they is enough electricity comming to start electrifying the rail to a speed of 240kmph http://www.cnn.com/2016/01/18/africa/gallery/kenya-megaprojects/ So please think again, the whole country is a construction site overhere

SMH. We speak standard English not corruptions. And unlike Nigeria we have a NATIONAL language called Kiswahili, the most spoken Sub-saharan language and the second most spoken language in Africa after Arabic.
Kenyans can go to Uganda,Tanzania,Rwanda,the DRC, Malawi and Northern Zambia, the Comoros and even parts of Oman in the Middle East and we will all understand each other. South Sudan and Somalia are joining the Swahili bandwagon due to the return of refugees who lived growing up speaking Swahili in Kenya.Burundi is also joining the bandwagon as it is part of the East African Community whose language is Swahili.
More than 200 million people speak Swahili , that is even larger than the population of Nigeria.

The refinery in Lagos free trade zone alone is the largest single refinery in the world. It's more expensive than kenya's biggest project since independence. Guess make it special? just one Nigerian is building it. If you like you can die of envy.
