Charlton Wonderkid Dubbed The New Moussa Dembele Reveals He Will Not Reject Nigeria Call Up

The highly-rated Charlton Athletic midfielder Joe Aribo is keeping his options open regarding his international future and has revealed that he has not yet been approached by the Nigeria Football Federation.

Born in London, Camberwell to Nigerian parents, Aribo’s performances for the Addicks Development squad have not gone unnoticed back in Nigeria, with the player winning the club’s Goal of the Month for September.

“I can play for both Nigeria and England, I’m open to playing for both but I have not had any contact with the Nigerian Federation or their reps,
” Aribo told allnigeriasoccer.com.
“My strengths are I am able to move around the pitch with energy and passing, my weaknesses are my weaker foot and heading.

“I model my game after Tottenham Hotspur’s Moussa Dembélé because he is a left footed midfielder like me. ”
The 20-year-old Joe Aribo starred for St Mark’s Academy, Mitcham and Staines Town before he was acquired by Charlton Athletic a year ago.

Umar As Mentor

The Nigerian teen duo of Adams Muhammed and Chukwuemeka Emmanuel who are presently on the books of Serie A side AS Roma are hoping to follow in the footsteps of Sadiq Umar, who is now at Bologna.

Adams and Emeka both joined the U-18 of Roma this season as exclusively reported by
Owngoalnigeria.com months ago, and the duo
have been spending time with Sadiq, who played for Roma last season.

Sadiq top scorer for Nigeria at the Rio 2016
Olympics is on a season long loan/ co-ownership
deal to Bologna from Roma, but he is passing his
experience during his stay at the Serie A giants to the emerging duo.

Even though Nura Abdullahi is still at the club,
Sadiq Umar who has first team experience after
progressing from the youth ranks last season, has been giving tips to the duo on how to make it to the first team in the nearest future.

Emeka who is a defender is nicknamed Boateng
for his similar style of play to the German
defender Jerome Boateng, while Adams, a central midfielder by trade is nicknamed “goma” which means 10 in Hausa language, due to his midfield prowess.

They were both signed from the prestigious
Football Academy Abuja, same team that
produced Sadiq Umar and Nura Abdullahi, and
they were teammates to Inter-Milan teen
sensation Theophilus Awua at same Abuja
academy.

Tosin Kehinde, Olosunde Impress As
Manchester United Beat Arsenal U23

Nigerian midfielder Tosin Kehinde and Matthew
Olosunde featured for Manchester United in their 1-0 victory over Arsenal in Premier League 2 on Monday night.

The 18-year-old hopped off the bench in the 67th minute, joining USA youth-teamer Olosunde on the Leigh Sports Village Stadium pitch, while Arsenal midfielder Aaron Eyoma was introduced with 12 minutes remaining.

Olosunde was the most impressive player of
Nigerian descent tonight and showed off his
offensive and defensive qualities.

The talented defender would have put the Red
Devils 2-0 up in the first half, only for goalkeeper
Keto to save with his legs, before he made an
important clearance as the Gunners searched for an equalizer.

Kehinde has recorded five appearances in the
league so far this season, with three of them off
the bench .

Top Scout Reckons Lateef Omidiji Is Better
Than Celtic Next Big Hope Karamoko Dembele

A top Paris Saint-Germain scout has claimed that American-born FC Dordrecht striker of Nigerian heritage, Lateef Omidiji Jr, is a better player than Celtic wonderkid Karamoko Dembele, having scouted the two exciting teenagers this season.

Whilst Dembele is poised to make his debut for
Scotland’s U16 national team in the Victory
Shield tournament later this month, Omidiji was
not considered for selection for the Golden
Eaglets during their 2017 Africa U-17 Cup of
Nations qualifiers versus Niger Republic.

“I was Nigeria’s biggest advocate for this kid but until Nigeria gets more organized with their youth program, kids like this will continue to slip through their fingers and it’s sad because the kid really wanted to represent his fatherland, ” the unnamed PSG scout told allnigeriasoccer.com.

“I have watched the 13-year-old Karamoko
Dembele play at Celtic, watched some of the
highest rated 13-year-olds play across Europe-
none touch Lateef Jr’s current skills and potential.

“The kid is simply special and look at what
Scotland just did- they just invited Dembele to
their U16 team.

“What has Nigeria done with Lateef Jr? My job basically consists of traveling all over Europe to look for the next future stars and NO 13 YEAR
OLD IN EUROPE is as good as Lateef Jr... period”

Omidiji, who is eligible to represent Nigeria and
the United States, is being tracked by some of
the top teams in Europe, not limited to Arsenal,
Man City, Chelsea, Real Madrid, Barcelona and
Ajax Amsterdam.

Ike Ugbo Continues To Catch The Eyes Of
Many At Chelsea With Another Goal

County in Premier League 2 ended with both
teams sharing the spoils.

Two England youth-teamers who remain eligible
to play for Nigeria, Fikayo Tomori and Ike Ugbo,
started and completed the game for the Blues,
with the striker registering his name on the score
sheet in the 62nd minute.

Ugbo thought he had netted the game-winner
when he fired home after he was teed up by

terms two minutes after his goal.

The 18-year-old, who was a member of England’s
U17 squad at the 2015 Fifa U17 World Cup, has
bagged six goals in all competitions for the youth
teams of the Blues this season.

Born in London, Ugbo has represented Chelsea

No Sir.... He's of Ivorien blood but was born in England which makes him an "English-born of Ivorien heritage".

He's eligible to represent One of Scotland, England and Ivory coast.

He's 13 just like our own Omidiji jnr and the two youngsters are regarded as two of the finest 13 year olds in european soccer.

Dembele made his debut for Celtic U-21 just recently and that made headlines hence the much fuss about him... smiley

But another top scout of PSG has said that Omidiji is a much better prospect and is, in his own opinion, the most talented 13-14 year old in europe today. Even better than K.K. Dembele.

Flying Eagles Ace Njoku Scores Second
Hattrick Of The Season In Israel in 24mins

Former Liverpool trialist Jacob Njoku scored his
second hattrick of the season as his loan side
Beitar Tel Aviv Ramla thumped Hapoel Afula 5-2,
in a second division league game in Israel.

Njoku went home with the match ball after
scoring in the 24th, 45th and 48th minute of the seven goal thriller, which ended 5-2 in favour of his team.

The Nigerian grabbed his first hattrick of the
season in a league cup game in September which ended 5-3 in favour of his team. In that same game prolific Nigerian forward Anthony Lokosa was also among the goals for Beitar Tel Aviv Ramla.

Lokosa is out injured at the moment, but he has been more consistent than Njoku for the second division Isreali side, who are presently third on the log standing.

Ex FC Porto trainee Njoku has been in and out of the team where he is on loan from first division side Hapoel Petal Tikva.

Nigeria Federation To Run The Rule Over
New Liverpool Signing Emeka Obi

Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that the
Nigeria Football Federation are hoping to beat
their English counterparts to the international
future of Bury teen sensation Emeka Obi, who has agreed terms with Liverpool, subject to the
approval of the Premier League.

Though the NFF can boast of a very good
database of players of Nigerian descent in the
United Kingdom, they were not aware of The
Shakers wonderkid until news filtered that the
central defender has been acquired by Liverpool.

A English-based Nigerian with close ties to the
Nigerian Federation will attend one of Bury’s
reserve team fixtures in the coming days to run
the rule over Emeka Obi, before providing
feedback to his principal.

Obi, who has been touted as the best 15-year-old in the whole of England, was born in Nigeria, and has not played competitively for England at any level, meaning the NFF will not have to bother themselves to contact Fifa to approve his switch.

The stopper has been included in Bury’s 18-man squad for competitive matches two times this season.

EX-EAGLETS STAR JOHN LAZARUS HEADS
OUT FOR BOAVISTA TRIALS

Former Nigeria U17 defender John Lazarus will
this weekend fly out to Portuguese club Boavista
on trials.

The stocky right fullback, who played a key role
as Nigeria won a record fifth FIFA U17 World Cup
last November in Chile, has been courted by
several overseas clubs.

“He will leave for Boavista latest by the weekend.
All his travel documents have been sorted,” his
agent informed.

“It’s a big chance for the youngster and we hope he comes good there.”

The Abuja-born Lazarus, who was 18 in June,

again crowned world champions last year.
He was also part of the ill-fated Flying Eagles, who failed to qualify for next year’s U20 AFCON in Zambia.

VFB Stuttgart, Millwall, Carlisle United Scouts Watch Nigerian Young Stars Asoro, Maja

Josh Maja

A number of clubs below the Premier League
might be interested in the signing of some of the outstanding youngsters in the ranks of Arsenal and Sunderland in the near future.

The well informed Twitter account @Scoutsattending has reported that
representatives of Millwall, Carlisle United,
Southend United and AFC Wimbledon were at
Meadow Park (Hertfordshire) on Friday night to
witness the meeting between the Gunners and
Black Cats in the Premier League 2.

While no player of Nigerian descent was involved for Arsenal, the highly-rated Sweden U21 international Joel Asoro started for Sunderland before he was replaced by Josh Maja in the 64th minute.

An Arsenal scout watched Asoro play for Sweden U21s versus Netherlands in September and was impressed by his performance.

VFB Stuttgart ambassador Thomas Hitzlsperger
was also present to run the rule over Sunderland and Arsenal players.

Chelsea Loanee Tammy Abraham Back On The Goal Trail For Bristol City

A last-gasp equalizer denied Bristol City the
maximum points in their Championship tie at
Barnsley on Saturday afternoon.

Chelsea loanee Tammy Abraham thought he had scored the game-winner in the 76th minute, only for the home team to restore parity through Adam Hammill in injury time.

The Nigeria target tapped home from close range to take his tally to 12 goals in all competitions after he was fed by Tomlin.

Before today’s game at Oakwell, Abraham had
failed to score in four consecutive matches
against Cardiff City, Queens Park Rangers,
Blackburn Rovers and Hull City.

He was named the EFL Young Player of the Month for September earlier this week.
