People have already posted the pictures of closed markets. Thank you and more so, I am in lagos.

My guy thunder I was in Nsukka market this morning before the rain fall, shops were opened as early as 8am, students are going to school, life here is normal.. I am not an Igbo man, I am a Remo (Ijebu) man from Sagamu, Ogun State and I live in Lagos State.

My dream is for a true and united Nigeria where everybody is given equal opportunity and sense of belonging but what we have now is not an ideal state. Whatever you permit will increase, the way the Igbos are maginalised today will soon get to me if it is not corrected.

Are you the King of so called south south to make such declaration online? How much power do you have in real life to make any impact...lol

We are not biafrans: simple as ABC. Or are we? If yes, kindly tell us how.

Only a fool will think otherwise. I pray and hope biafrans get what they want if it will make them happy and better the country, but fools should stop associating Niger delta with biafra.

What arrogance. Come to some places here in Delta state and make such a bold declaration and see weda no be correct slap boys go use align your face.

In Onitsha, we are sincerely observing the sit at home peaceful rally. The largest market in Africa is shut down, school children are at home climbing the father's back, some youths are playing football at various street. Every way was calm. Police helicopter flew around while men of joint task force comprising police, Army and Navy were spotted parading around.

I am not for or against the sit- home. I just want to clarify that the reason schools and the secretariat in Akwa ibom state is not opened today is because of the anniversary ( Akwa ibom is 29 today), so it's a public holiday. Every other businesses are going on as normal(, markets , transport etc )

I see a parallel between Italian Independence and unification from Austrian empire with the Biafran struggle for Independence and unification.

On Sunday, IPOB and MASSOB issued a directive that people should stay at home today to protest Kanu’s detention – for many months.
The groups ordered all the markets in the Southeast, banks, institutions, motorist and civil liberty groups to shut down activities.
_ the nation newspaper

My question is why should a group of touts impose something like this to the entire comunity.
Obviously, the people sitting at home are not doing it voluntarily. There are being forced by a group of holigans to do this. This violates the average nigerian rights to an extent.
When dem put another idiot for kuje now, una go begin dey rant.

Foolish people with archaic ideology...

It really baffles me that when someone hates someone, you still won't let the person go his way. Nigerians hate "Biafrans". It's simple, Let Them Go!!! So that we'll know we're in different countries. Let the hate stop. I'm married to your people. I don't mind travelling to another country to visit my husband's people. You don't want them, they don't want you. Separation is the best!!!!
