Please where can I get the tagiri and Lacto bacillus I'm in Portharcourt my birds have been having coccidiosis I want to switch to organic I don't want to use drugs again. How can I reach you. My email is jswart_ng@yahoo.com. Or 08083337656
Use aloe Vera or dongoyaro leaf or bitter leaf in water for like four or more days.
Most times coccidiosis is caused by dirty litter. Change your litter.
There are times coccidiossis is confused with ecoli infection. Ecoli infection is very similar to coccidiosis but treated by antibiotics.

these leaves you mention, is it that one will extract the water and dilute it in water for them or just give them the raw extract like that?

You won't believe I change my litter almost every morning. It used to be every 3 days. But recently we started changing every day or 2 days interval.

Sir how many BAGS so far
They are on the eight bags now... I was experimenting with brewer waste to augment their feeds...it was causing diarrhea so I stopped after the fourth day. One beautiful thing about organic is that, they can withstand a lot of stress...I kept their litters longer than usual to see the effects on their health, they were just growing stronger everyday.

When chicken are very young, they have very poor digestive system.. So most of their feeds wont digest. But as they grow older the system improves.

The feed conversion must be poor, if you take your time to check. .. what's their average weight now?

Broilers raised in intensive farming should not exceed 12 weeks. Measure them to know average weight.
If it is poor in weight, it could be attributed to be poor breed from where you bought them.
How many broilers are there? If it's above 50, then you are under feeding them.

@Organic ... I noticed that in the last pix our birds ehmmm.... your birds are well covered in feathers. Does that happen with maturity or you made some changes to the feed?...added or stopped using something?

They eventually turn up with feathers. I think it's down to their age now.

The best way to enjoy organic broilers production is to start from day old. This way the immune system is fully developed and you dont have any issues with diseases. Meanwhile I recommend the conventional approach of treatment to help the chicken scale through the disease, then you can revert to organic. If you go through the thread you find a very good organic method to adopt.
