This country men!! Jonathan was corrupt, allowing corruption to fester. Buhari came and started fighting corruption and the same people are against the fight against corruption siting laid down procedure by Liars.

Can this country ever be fixed??

Buhari is not fair in his corruption fight. That's why he will not succeed. He only targets the opposition and anyone he sees as a threat to him.

If it is not foolishness or just illiteracy that is worrying people that think like this; after arresting him with DSS, EFCC, ICPC, OPC or fulani herdsmen; isn't it the court that you will take them to, to prosecute them.

At the end of the day, they will still refer to the law books that you were hoping to bye pass (see Dasuki and Nnamdi kanu's case as an example).

So why not just humble yourself, read the damn laws book or get someone who has studied them professionally (they are called lawyers may I add) and prosecute them according to the same law.

There must be order in the bar and bench and order we will have.

Some of these corrupt people are calling on the HOA to do the 'needful'. Do the needful and get thrown out of the HOA. Nigerians are already tired of you

People were not asking how the Judges came about the huge amount of money recovered from their houses. The Judiciary is completely out of sync with the aspiration of this government to fight corruption to a standstill. The process may have been 'short-circuited', but the country will be better for it.

Don't worry, that which u seek will first consume u and zombies like u since law and order is something u cannot grasp or seek to develop as it should be, rather u are looking for governance through the barrel of guns! Go and ask North Koreans how it is for them.

We are saying Gestapo style. I cry when I see victims of corruption defending corrupt politicians and judges. You are denied access to quality healthcare, good roads , good schools, good lifestyle and instead of you to defend yourself and get to the street to intimidate the corrupt people , you are worried about the Gestapo way of arresting corrupt politicians and judges. All these years that the corruption in the judiciary has been going on, what has the NBA done to curb it or rather they have aided it by working hand in hand with the selected corrupt judges. When a poor man steals 5000naira he gets a Gestapo beating but a judge collects bribe in millions and you want the constitution to work. I weep for my country and especially its youth. This is absurd. God will save Nigeria. Please don't come with rule of law nonsense again oh because we live in a country of selected justice for the few.

Which part of our law gives immunity to judges?
Which part of our laws says judges can't be arrested?

If a judge commits a crime of rape, is it NJC that will decide the matter?

Judges are protected within the context of doing their constitutional job and that does not include committing crimes.

While you are advising people to read, please read up on the Nigeria Administration of Criminal Justice Act 2015 and wonder why our judges aren't following it. Why are judges choosing the laws to practice?

You never know what you have until you loose it.. Jonathan didn't try a quarter of what the dictator from Daura is doing today. He was bashed left, right and centre but he remained unprovoked.

God bless you Jonathan, you're a fine gentleman.

. Nothing like dictatorship here. Buhari notice that judicial sector is so corrupt which is a major setback for any government if it were to succeed on it mission, escalating the corrupt and infected ones is a good for me if they were to set a good background to any sector

The DSS will Jeopardize the case they have against this Judges by their actions.

They will have to present the money and other information they claimed to recover before another Judge in court, and that is where NBA will eat them raw.

Only in Nigeria crooks have phone numbers of crooked and corrupt judges who can issue perpetual injunctions to make sure cases never see the light of any day forever and ever.

The crooks know the judges and and they go to the same set of corrupt judges to evade the law and spend looted funds freely without fear of prosecution or prison..

Corruption is really the least of our worries, the judiciary is really our primary problem before corruption.

No Nation progresses with crooked and corrupt judiciary..

This fantasy about anti-corruption in order to rescue Nigeria from recession needs to stop really because as we speak looting is going on in government

A government with Amaechi in their cabinet can not talk about anti corruption
A president with Abba Kyari as chief of staff can not talk about anti corruption

Buhari's fight against the senate and judiciary has nothing to do with anti-corruption or any perceived or imaginary common good!

Tyrant Buhari is simply trying to amass power for himself, by pocketing the other arms of government

And guess what ? Foreign investors are watching and they don't like unstable systems! Or government and I am sorry to say that Nigeria won't come out of recession soon

Good Move NBA. I thought you guys were going to keep quiet and be intimated by the tyrannical autocracy of Buhari.

NBA should go on strike, lawyers and judges should avoid the courts, shoe Buhari that where there is no law, there is no crime. If he thinks he can flout and intimidate the democracy we earned as a people, then we have to prove to him that we won't retreat.

This devil-may-care system of governance has to stop. Waiting on the legislators to follow up on this.
/
If they go on strike, the judges arrested will not get bail.
Double wahala for dead body.

I wish PMB could sack all the judges with immediate effect.
What are they going to do? Take PMB to ECOWAS court?

Nigerians need shock to reality like this once in awhile. Corruption has been so much entrenched in Nigeria that it is accepted as a culture. Infact, it seems to be a crime to not be corrupt. NBA is a toothless bulldog. Where were they since last year?

What are people like you saying about the open support of corruption by the NJC? You guys are more bothered about the DSS arresting your Judges with bribe money in their possession, instead of fuming at the gross corruption in the Judiciary.

BAFFLING.

The SSS initially submitted parts of its findings to the regulatory body, the National Judicial Council. Officials said the SSS moved in after the council merely recommended two of the judges for retirement, and not prosecution.

The council also refused to cooperate with the SSS as the agency launched wider investigations into the cases for more evidence. The source explained that judges whose homes were raided include Adeniyi Ademola, and Nnamdi Dimgba of the Federal High Court in Abuja as well as Sylvester Ngwuta and John Okoro of the Supreme Court.
