Top notch politicking by Kwankwaso, a true son of the soil. Kano ko da mi kazo sai an fi ka. So the ScAvengers that have suddenly learnt their table manners after experiencing fire rain from the skies are the cowards that some elements are banking on to neutralize this masterstroke? I am Igbo, but I must admit that these northerners are political gurus. Did anyone even know about the existence of this bill at the senate before it was passed? No noise-making, no grandstanding, the northerners just closed rank to get what will benefit them! That is true representation. Nobody should begrudge this bill because that is why representaives are sent by their people to the national assembly- to get as much as they can for their constituency. That's why the north will continue to rule Nigeria till Jesus comes. No be by gra-gra or na me sabi pass. The northerners play the game with common sense. 1 Like |

EternalTruths:This is not a function of voting buhari or not. Why should I blame the northerners. During Gej's tenure, what Bill of substance were the southern senators able to push. The national assembly is a collective property of all and we all have representatives,so if the northern senators can push for a bill that will benefit their people,I'd rather southern senators learn a thing or two about politics because clearly the northerners are ahead of us in this game. We can either learn how to play politics or we learn to accept outcomes such as this. If the southern senators cannot work together to push a bill that will benefit their people, whose fault I ask? Is it theirs(southern senators) ? We who elected them? Or the northerners? 2 Likes |

Suprnov3r:I'm curious to know what PDP would have done differently or what PDP did differently since you claim that voting APC has brought this? All I see from this development is the northern synergy, while we in the south laugh and mock them for their perceived illiteracy (a thread was opened recently to showcase the illiteracy of one northern Rep Kazaure), their leaders collectively work together to squeeze more juice to their region. The question I ask is, what stops southern leaders/representatives from creating this same synergy?... Everyday we come online to witness SE vs SW vs SS wars while the north carts away with the spoils, but the south actually believes it is smart. 2 Likes |

EternalTruths:lolsss...afonja are foools..u said it all. The north doesn have any inputs in vats from certain products like alchohol, citing religous intolerance, but at the same time collects its share of vat allocation from vat collected from elsewhere...and vat funds emanates mostly from lagos..so basically, the govt is compensating the north and the as it were now,the ne and kano and plateau from lagos vat..afonja yaff suffered watch how the will blame this on the ss and se. Re: How South Has Succeed In Making Kano Economically Special For The Next 10 Years by obailala(m): 10:35am On Oct 21, 2016 |
nonsobaba:Absolutely, the northern synergy is next to none. While we may laugh at some of them for their literacy level, it appears only their leaders actually know why they were sent to Abuja. It has become clearer and clearer by the day that southern leaders have no clue why they were sent to Abuja, most believe they were sent there only to make money for their pockets. Meanwhile, instead of addressing this leadership gap, it seems the only thing southerners know how to do is complain about how the north keeps winning in the political chess game. 1 Like |
