They have started arriving as usual to defend a big criminal who doesn't even have the faintest knowledge about their existence.

It would surprise you these same people were the ones who stripped some poor dude naked in the streets of Aba yesterday and tied a bunch of plaintain around his neck, flogging him as he begged for mercy. Dude was probably hungry and needed something to eat- what he "stole" wasn't up to 1500 naira in total- but no one thought about the Rule of Law for a second, after all, he's a poor man.

But when you steal billions, pocketing monies meant for these people and their children unborn, you see them scramble to your defence if anyone as much as dare to mention your name and any derogatory word in a single sentence!

Shame!

the EFCC & DSS seem to be very confused agencies.

the NJC has requested that a petition which can be reasonably substantiated, should be forwarded to it so that it can determine if there is reasonable clause to suspend these judges charged with corruption.

the EFCC & DSS in particular have refused to do so, yet, we are bombarded with 'media evidence' daily. why not simply do the needful?

before those who have one track minds start frothing at the mouth & giving silly reasons about how the NJC won't do anything, you must realise that there are rules & regulations guiding the suspension & discipline of judicial officers & until that is amended, any other explanation is null & void.

to better clarify the issue, is it possible for a police officer or military officer to be arraigned in civil court on allegations of misconduct without first going through an orderly room trial or court martial?...

I don't know why any time there is news like this we start passing judgement calling them thieves , how true are the evidence , if it's so strong as they claim they should take her to court .. We should stop passing judgement just because someone is accused ..wat have they done with the issue of dogara and co , instead the one that brought about the allegations was suspended...

The EFCC really needs to be circumspect in its dealings with the media.

The most damning document shows that the judge, who once freed former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode on a technicality over corruption charges, had wired at least $900,000 to foreign banks between 2014-2016. She could not explain the source of the funds to investigators, who asked her to return to their offices on Monday.

No wonder Femi Fani-Kayode cried like a Crocodile about to lay Ostrich Eggs when the tackle on corrupt judges started.

There should be a law to revisit all judgments passed by any judge found to be corrupt.
Imagine the judgments this corrupt woman would have passed against the poor!...lashing out at ppl in her court...this is why juror system is always better where common sense people without legal background make decision based on practical experience " Judgement through the lense of the people". Worst even if a juror was induced, he/she won't be induced twice...because jurors will be picked through a lottery system and vetted.

Many Nigerians will readily beat up somebody accused of stealing or rejoice when policemen kill armed robbers extra judicially but will be at the forefront defending with a borrowed MB those whose kleptomanic act in position of trust have made them live lesser than animals in midst of plenty.
The case of Aluu 4 -a jungle justice meted to four students in the heart of South south is still fresh in our mind...but many aligned with looters like Saraki, Dasuki, PEJ, Metuh and recently indicted marketers of justice against the FG shouting either due process or witch-hunting.
It is sad that those who never recourse to the rule of law when dealing with petty thieves become emergency constitutional lawyers when the search light of corruption is beamed at the mighty in society.
There's no gain saying that the ordinary man is it own worst enemy. Many are shouting media trial even when they can't define what "media trial" is should they be asked to.
If Nigerians are really serious about taking charge of their destiny from these human locusts, then the so called media trial or what what I called media revelation ought to spur the Youth to anger and and take them to the streets against these human devils.
Any student of history will know that it was the infamous statement of Queen Maria Anttonet, wife of King Louis XVI of France that triggered the French revolution.
Louis was living a ostentatious and carefree life while majority of his subjects wallow in squalor. Bread, the staple food of the ordinary French citizens was scarce and the people complained.
But the Queen who was raised an aristocrat said in response to the complaint that if there is no bread, they should have cake. Such a supposed harmless statement drew the ire of the masses who stormed the Elysees Palace, captured both king n Queen and executed them.
Even the Catholic priests n Bishops were not spared.
The French revolution brought about the age of enlightenment. It was this era far away in the new world that A country was been birthed.
My submission is that enough of tg complaints behind keypads...the media trials should be seized upon by Nigerians to defeat these human vampires if we want posterity to judge us right.

That's all the EFCC said.
