Try this, tho its a bit dramatic, but works everytime.

Pay some kids in your area to make fun of her lousy weight. Then when she comes crying to you that she wants to enroll in a gym, take her there personally and enroll her.

Honestly been down this road before...

The worst you can do is compare her to others... and she won't loose weight unless she wants to and has the drive

Exercising with her would the best... u can take walks , play tennis ...

Or be open minded about the weight gain... it kinda adds more when you get busy... there's more to grab and u can be as rough as you want
