I don't know why soldiers like posting write ups like this so that we can pity them. 4 goodness sake, u were not kidnapped and drafted into d army, ur entry into d army was voluntary so u signed up 4 it. stop making pple feel guilty with ur emotional posts cos no one owes u an apology.
STFU...the life u live, doesn't it get unbearable sometimes and wonder why the world is the way it is? Its called occupational hazard, thought they weren't forced in2 it but the nature of the job pushes u 2 ur mental, physical and emotional limits. They're human, and they aren't asking 4 ur pity. U can keep that (ur pity) in ur pocket.

Making Nigeria great is not a rocket science. It begins with a national dream by citizens. Martin Luther had a dream for America and we have seen it come to pass, the leaders of Dubai had a national dream that turned their desert land to one of the most beautiful and visited cities in the world. Nigeria can become one of the greatest nations if we dream it and live for it.
Nigeria @ 100, a developed nation that truly cares for its citizens and army is 100% achievable!
U and I cam make 2060 happen.
Start by doing what is needful to achieve this and influencing others to do the same.

'STORY OF A SOLDIER

It is not easy been a soldier!
We have cloth in our wardrobes but the nature of the job leaves no chance to wear them!
Patrol and escort both in the summer and winter
dressing combatantly everyday like an astonaut
while others are asleep we are awake.
While you drink table water and beverages in your homes, we manage water in the jungle
we do this just to suppress terrorism!
You lay on beds at night while we lay on tents and trench.

While you think of how to embazzle funds we think of how to attack external forces!
It is a work to God and humanity.
You fucking scream when you are cut by blade we endure when we are hit by a bullet!
When a soldier die, they dont take it as anything.
To them it is a normal thing!
But when their wives have miscarriage the whole earth will hear their cry!
May be you dont know we are also born from a woman.

Ohh Lord! I pray that every person, people, community, organization or parastatal that whishes me and my fellow soldiers awful death.dry thunder from heaven should strike them down.
Do i hear you say amen'

Like seriously...?
It's your chosen profession. I'm sure you may be among those privileged with godfathers when you were recruited. It may be because of people like you with godfathers that deprived people like me the opportunity of becoming real soldiers because our result sheets were sold to people like you and we missed our place because we had no godfather. Even right at the recruitment area the names of people who came first were removed so that people like you who were unqualified could take our place. Therefore, take pride in your work and all you soldiers should stop whining and do the work! I'm sure there are still hundreds of thousands of Nigerian youths applying for what you have two times annually (as may be the case now) and often denied because politicians and commissioned soldiers have messed the system up with slots. So, enjoy your uniform and rifle plus the respect while it lasts. Personally, I feel no pity for those complaining because you may be one of the reasons our military is wrong. You may have stolen my slot or that of somebody else.

I know dat dey try to make our society work. but they shld also realise dat doctors, lawyers, bankers and almost every profession on earth strives to make our society work. instead of them to make emotional statements, their leaders shld look 4 means to stop diversion of funds meant 4 purchase of weapons so dat soldiers would stop dying like chickens. soldiers shld also treat humans with respect. it is not an unusual sight to see how dey brutalise d so called bloody civilians on the highways and now dey are asking 4 sympathy 4rm d same bloody civilians.

our soldiers are just behaving like soft bread, they are just acting as if they are doing their jobs for free, we pass through hell to pay tax, if they think outside barrack is easier let them resign and join me inside market drag customers

In as much as I Concord with you as regards to the status quo there sign in for it some of them use oga at the top to get the slot in as much as I sympathized with the soldier some of them uses their connection to deprived others without connection am saying this from a personal experience this recent Air force DSSC that batch A finished my name was replace by a guy called tersoo under FCT what concern tersoo with FCT we were three that succeeded to face the board and there needed 4 candidate for FCT two for Batch A and the other 2 for Batch B but from Abuja 2 of us were picked a
