We all go home together and when we got to our junctions we path.

ME: What will i tell maami? where will i find thirty thousand naira for my waec fee? Maami is not feeling well, telling her this, will let her start thinking,and i don't want that.
Hawking moi-moi for four month is not up to thirty thousand,and we are to pay in three months. Hmn God please help me.

It's now two days to the last day given to us to pay the waec fee. While hawking Mio-Moi,I was thinking about how i will get the money not knowing am now walking in the meeting of the road,until when i hear a horn of a car. That when i run back to the side of the road. I pleaded with the person driving the car but his face look familiar. Hearing say"it's okay" that when i knew it Temitope.

Temitope: Hey, what are up thinking,why did you wanna die or kill yourself? huh!

Meshould i tell him what my problem is or just keep it to my self)

Temitope: Are you okay,are you here with me?

Me: Am very sorry,please i have to go.

Temitope: Let me just give you a ride,you don't look okay at all.

Me: Thanks,you don't have to bother yourself. (I started going)

Temitope: Hey,can you just tell me your name.

Mewithout looking back) Bolanle.

Temitope: Bolanle,please wait

Me: (did i just tell him my name)

I turn back and he beg me to give me a ride. I agreed and he drove me straight to our house after describing the way to him.

Getting to my house still in Temitope's car I saw Olamy in the front of our house. I alighted from TemiTope's car with the show glass i hawk it.
My eyes meet with Olamy's own and and feel shocked and scared.

Temitope: Think this is your house right?

Me: Y...Yes.

Temitope: Okay i will check you up someother time.

He left.

Me: Good P.M Olamy

Olamy: Where are you coming from?

Me: What kind of question is that, as you can see am just coming back from hawking.(I drop the glass an stand akimbo)

Olamywith a straight face) oh,oh,so you are hawking in a guys car.

Me: He us just a friend, (Did i just call him my friend)

Olamy: Bola,where are you coming from(now raising his voice on me)

Me: Don't you dare ask me that stupid question,you ain't blind are you? can't you see for yourself.(Raising my voice also)

Me: He just give me a ride and that is it.

He stand up angrily from where he was sitting and come closer to me,he raised his hand up,i close my eyes waiting for shot slap,but No, the next thing i see is that that feel something like paper falling on my body,I open my eyes to see five..Five hundred naira note on my body and also scattered on the floor.

Olamy: (With a teary eyes) That is what i come here to give you,not knowing i will meet your other way round.(He Left)

Me: O... O....O..L..A..M...Y(a drop of tears is now on my face)

I pick up all the money and count it all together.....

I shouldn't have raise my voice on her like that,but what is wrong with maybe it because the way i get the money that make me behave in a harsh way.
I will just have to go and apologise to her tomorrow morning after getting myself well.
I went straight to Biodun's house,it's been a while we've seen eachother and and know he will surely cheer me up. When i reach his,I met him outside he was going out.


Biodun: My guy,what's up now?

Me: I dey o, I dey where you put me.

He lock the front door and off we go to the stream,When we get to the stream,we swim, gist,play,that i even forget am angry with someone. We laugh and I forget my sorrows. On our way home Biodun started talking to me and he make one statement that make me remember my sorrow again.

Biodun: Guy,u fit carry me go next village tomorrow?

Me: Carry with what?

Biodun: Your bike now,you fit carry me with it?

Me: shey eyi ti moti ta abi ewo?(is it the one have sold or which one?).

Biodun: Ta kini(sell what?).Are you kidding me olamide, ota ok okada e kilode(you sell your bike why?)

Me: Omo,my bae won do waec abd i have to sell it for her to pay for her fees jhawe.

Biodun: Wetin you go take dey survive now abi iru ife wo le leyi(abi which kain love be this?)

Me: My Brother is now serving the country. When he is through and is well okay, he said he his coming to take me go lag. Because that his where he is serving and he said they are retaining him to continue working with them and it's an oil company,he said he will open a big oil shop for me and will be selling and keep the profit i make.

The day after me and Olamy had an arguement or should i call it disagreement. I went to his house to apologies but his mum told me he has gone to work,since the only place i know he works is at the okada park in the village market,so i went there and ask some few people I knew in the park they said he haven't been in the park for three days.
Where is he and why haven't he been going to work?

On my way home,I saw Olamy's bike,but he is not the rider. I know the bike is for him because the day he was going to buy it,we we together and it was designed with my name. Maybe he borrow someone,but i know him well he can never borrow anyone his bike.

I was still thinking this when i saw him and Biodun,I think they are going to the river to catch fish because they are having fishing net with them.

Sighting them my heart skip but why,I knew have offended Olamy,but how will I apologise to him.A low voice in my head told is telling me to remember where me and Olamy start from and the helps he have rendered for me in the past;while a loud vioce is telling me what kind of help,is he the only one in the world that rendered assistance,don't answer that fool talking to you o. Shut up ;the low voice screamed for the first time. The two voices started shouting and screaming in my head,that i can't even hear what they are both saying anymore and I lost consciousness and fall but I was caught by a familiar hand.

Bola! Bola!! Bola!!! I opened my eyes to Olamy holding me and Biodun fanning me with his cloth.
I looked into Olamy's eyes,he save you again,I hear my heart say. Immediately I released myself from him,I go on my knees(thank God no one is passing)

Me: Olamy,am sorry about what happen yesterday,please forgive me,I don't just know what came over me,I don't know what get into my head,You see that Guy us just a friend,he only help me home when he sees me in the middle of the road thinking. After saying this and seeing he is not looking my side again and I know he is still angry,I stand up dust my cloth and turn to leave when I heard him call my name.

Am so happy and I know he has forgiven me,since he called me,"BOLAMY" ,I ran straight to hug him.

I was call up to the stage to give a goodluck speech to my juniors and fellow students.
Me: Firstly,am really grateful to all my teachers,because without them I won’t be able to stand here and be the best student,and secondly to my mum,she really try her best to make me read,to make who I am. And to my fellow students; “Luck is what happens when preparation meets opportunity. And then Trusting God won’t make mountain smaller but makes climbing easier. A fulfiling future belongs to those with strong vision and resilence.It doesn’t matter where you might be now.Starting well and finishing strong is what counts. GOODLUCK.
