I have a question that I want the experienced married people in this forum to analysed..
please for how long can a man endure before he could start having sex with his wife that just had a baby. Our first baby actually and we have no experience how my wife's ''down there'' could be healed and be ready for action.
When do you think,it would safer to start having our bed tutorials back on track?.pls how many days, weeks or months?

Medically u shud wait for the uterus to heal n this is evidenced by no more production of' lochia' which is a vaginal discharge mixed with blood.

This priod takes about 3 weeks but may vary.

U shud wait till after episiorraphy scar heals as well.

From my own experience.
After my first which I had through CS, it was like a month later or less than sef.
For my second thru vaginal delivery, I had to wait for 6weeks postpartum check up cos I had tears.

If she was stitched pretty tight, it will be quite painful for a long time......sometimes as long as 6 months or a year sef.
If she had CS, its back to business quickly.
If she had no tears, lucky her. It might be painful but not too much.

But usually by the 6th week, Drs give you the go ahead to do it.

Six months You wan kill person

@op, it depends on your wife's body.
If the delivery was natural, i.e through vàgina, the uterus will be healed within 4-6 week, after which there won't be vaginal discharge and every every would have gone back to normal.

If the delivery was through C.S, you will have to wait for about three months or more, depending on when there's total heal-up.

Wishing you safe and joyful delivery dear.

I heard some are even ready for the thing after about 2-3 weeks. That's why I said it depends on the woman's metabolism.

Better don't starve your man when you give birth. He'll just seek alternative elsewhere

My brother, by the time you see your LO and your lovely wife, you may not remember that thing o, you'll be overwhelmed with joy of seeing your little self.

And if you're so active, it's not every time you must do insertion, you and your wife can still satisfy yourselves without penetrating.

Hope you get my message!

It depends on whether or not she had episiotomy/perineal tear during delivery. If had a tear, then the man should chill for like 2monthss. But generally, the man should abstain for abt 2-3months
