So our our hubbies can have very fresh abunna to work with. Isn't that considerate of us?  And yeah we marry from other tribes. . .my cousin married a yoruba guy in may and my older sis friend is married to a calabar man (He was born and bred in KD though). |

Nowadays hausa girls that eventually pursue their education to the fullest i.e Masters + have lesser chances of getting married in their 20's. Rural hausa girls could get married earlier than those in town, but the trend is not always same for each northern states. I think the main reason that hausa girls marry early is debatable, as many will align to religious factors while others might say its their culture or environmennt. Whatever reason, any one might tell you, the rate at which they are getting divorced its almost tallying the rate at which they are getting getting. Reasons for that, i keep to my self, |
