No matter how they do it, there is a maximum number of days (stated in the Constitution) beyond which a sitting President can't stay outside his country else he'll be declared incapacitated and dismissed, consequently transferring presidential seat to his Vice.

In a time of uncertainty like this, caution is best adhered to. To that end, Osibanjo's security needs to be reviewed immediately and only trusted persons preferably from his zone should be in his security details. He should also take over the entire security apparatus of the country, all the heads of security agencies must now report directly to him including the NSA, DSS, NIA bosses. While we pray for Buhari's survival, we should not leave Osibanjo unprotected . They now know Buhari is unwell. some criminal plots might be in the offing.

In my honest opinion, Buhari should resign and leave the rudder of this country to a stronger and more energetic person. We can't be in the middle of a recession and have a President who can't preside. Its absurd. That's why Daura and babachir lawal are taking advantage of the situation, writing fraudulent letters, welcoming ibori home, harassing magu and arresting pastors at night.
Buhari is a good man but his best years are behind him. We need plenty of energy and zeal in aso rock. Buhari should quietly resign and go rest. He has tried.
