9jakohai: Whales beach when they are sick and usually this is as a result of ingesting ocean pollutants like plastic bags which they mistake for their favorite jelly fish. The most annoying thing is that the Oceanographic institute located a few metres from the beach did not respond to the whale beaching. 4 Likes |

FeloniousFelon: Don't get it twisted mate , dolphins and porpoises are subspecies of whales But you're right though , they are dolphins cause of their elongated beaklike mouth , porpoises have short snublike snouts. Just checked it up 1 Like

Hundred of Whales were found stranded at the River Bank in New Zealand, the Masses sacrificed themselves to save and return them to the Sea. We need to learn from the developed World! 9 Likes |

This is sad, I wish I didn't see the pictures. We're yet to be civilized, behaving like cave-men. Dolphins are protected everywhere and are one of the most intelligent mammals in the world! Several whales were saved last week in New Zealand, if they had beached in Nigeria, it will be called manna from heaven. If these same people catches a mermaid dem go chop am. This is sad. xynerise: 5 Likes 1 Share |

Why should Nigerians kill every creatures they lay their hands... I hate when people kills harmless and adorable animals..... Keeping them in the zoo would have been better.... |

Similar thing happened on the coasts of New Zealand 3 days ago and the mayor of the community had to call for more hands from schools and other organizations to join in the rescue efforts of saving the dolphins. Over 400 dolphins were stranded on the coasts that day. About 100 were saved. Here, we pepper soup and eat every creature. Too bad and too sad. 1 Like

In New Zealand some days back, human effort was applied to push some stranded beached whales back to the ocean (Hundreds of them). But in Naija... caught Dolphins are hacked up & eaten on the spot. I truly worry about the consience quality of most Nigerians. |
