Kanu is not stopping anybody from voting; he just told all IPOB members to sit at home on 18th of November. Simple!

Of all the great freedom fighters the world has known like Nelson Mandela, Mahatma Ghandi, Aungsan Suu Kyi, Martin Luther King Jnr etc none of them ever suggested or employ voter disenfranchisement as a tool in their fight. Instead they pushed for more voting rights and privileges so as to be able to influence the election outcomes and have bring to power someone sympathetic to their goals and objectives.

But we see Nnamdi Kanu taking his people back by a millenia with this 'No election' step.

If you like don't vote, your everyday lives will still be affected by the winner, no matter how small his winning votes were
