Having a state police is quite dangerous. But the police can be restructured to integrate trained local vigilante funded by the States and FGN to police streets and communities. The arrangement will be like the gendarme (armed police officer in France and other French-speaking countries). Every community will have theirs and they will be responsible to the Nigerian Police or the office of Inspector General of Police. The present police would be rearranged for the training and Logistics of the new Police. Community police will be saddle with intelligent gathering, monitoring and registration of individual data and linking to the National database. 8 Likes |

Of couse why will abok.i support state polices? They prefare the current status quo so that fulani herdsmen will continue to be protected. Centralization of Nigerian security dominated by quota system gambaris is the reason why fulani herdsmen are killing people with impunity unchallenged! #SupportNnamdiKanu for a better future for you and your children. 4 Likes 2 Shares |
