I'm so sure he will make it back to the scene, and from the speech one can easily see that the wife 've already or will pardon him. Nice speech indeed.

What I would like to know is who wrote that statement?

I would like to acquaint myself with that person or possibly the firm he/she works for to see how their mind works.

The question is what will you do if you were in Woods shoes.

agathamari:

if i were elin - "good bye and never return"

why not give a second chance before "never return"?

his second chance was blown when he went back to the first girl for the second time. 15 girls over teh entire length on the marriage, one who claims to have been pregnant by him. hell no, i have far to much dignity to stay with such a pathetic excuse for a human being. personaly if i were elin i would make tiger sign a disolution of parental rights, bettter off not having that kind of pond scum in my childrens lives

loool. good bye to a billionaire?guess many people are not aware that woods is the first ever billionaire athlete in the history of professional sport. no way that woman is leaving unless woods has a stupid pre-nup that allows her to grab a substantial amount

Im sorry but he owes the public no apology. He didnt call himself a role model and God stuck him with a family-man looking face so thats no fault of his as well. The hypocrisy of the press stuns me if one starts to investigate the press, they probably will find out that most of them are cheating on their spouses too. This will blow away by the middle of this year and he will go back to playing golf and get back his endorsements.
Re: Tiger Woods Open Confession - How Do You Respond? by Nobody: 11:35pm On Feb 21, 2010
Oh and Elin aint going nowhere until the pre-nup runs out then you will see the gold-digging fangs at work. Hahaha and they say black women are gold-diggers. "SMH"

They way the press is going about this you will think he murdered 10 men and is on trial. He made his mistakes and he took steps to right the wrong, they should leave him be already.

The truth is being a celebrity puts u in a role model position whether u like it or not.
pple look up to u when your on TV, and it's justifiable. It's a position of influence, so why not use it positively.
Now, is there a thing called intimacy addiction? oyinbos have a medical term for every bad habit. Guy needs to learn self-control and respect. He disgusts me.

I know what you are saying but he didnt stand up on the telly and say he is a role model, he didnt put himself on a pedestal, he just plays golf.

Na, I already said he did it out of obligation.

If he could have his druthers he could care less about any public apology.
The media just wouldn't leave his black, sorry white, arse alone.

Porn stars, bar tenders, etc
the guy is a true "player"

the press conference was bland and robotic to say the least
Re: Tiger Woods Open Confession - How Do You Respond? by KennyG6(m): 12:25am On Feb 22, 2010
i really dont get the media hysteria over this whole matter. Its a purely personal matter they should leave the guy alone jare and stop sticking their oars into his family life,
Re: Tiger Woods Open Confession - How Do You Respond? by H2O2: 12:27am On Feb 22, 2010
It's not purely personal o. Whether Cheetah woods likes it or not, by virtue of his megastardom he is a role model.
He has a public responsibility and an image to live up to.

What responsibility is that? his primary concern is to his family, people should stop all this role model talk jare, the bottom line is he is a very good golfer, the best yet he is human people should learn from his golfing prowess and accept that he is not God or infallible

Well over here in the UK, A white footballer called John Terry cheated on his wife with 10 women so no cheating is just not a black thing. The papers ran a witch hunt on him so he had to step down as the captain of England. Now they have gone after another Footballer he is mixed race though his name is Ashley Cole, so far the cheating toll is 4 women and counting grin, He cheated on his wife 2yrs ago. What im trying to say is that rich men especially athletes will cheat on their spouses, they just have to not be caught.

They all cheat.  When they do cheat it must be done covertly.  If the cheating manages to slip through the cracks and they get caught then this yawa don gas be that.  I know it's not a black thing.  I just made that statement tongue in cheek.  Women throw themselves at these athletes all the time, so it really doesn't come as a shock to me that all of these happen.

Of course all you said is true, BUT
when you live an thrive in the spotlight like that you know people are drawn to you, your talent, abilities, lifestyle, and they look to you for inspiration.  The majority of Tiger's wealth did not come by way of the pay he receives from golf tournaments; he amasses his earnings from those major endorsements.  These endorsements require you to live decently and serve as a positive influence in every possible way for the youth who are no doubt looking up to him.  In that regards, Tiger failed terribly and lost so many of his endorsements.  You might say it's unfair, but again, that's the price ya gotta pay.

I don't even call them role models. I just call them public figures. They sure as hell ain't my role models. They are flawed human beings just like you and me. Nobody is sacrosanct.
