You want restructuring and you are counting on yorubas to lead the way?
lol.
A political suicide is what you just committed. They will sell you out and submit to the status quo.
Anybody that wants restructuring should go for it alone . The Igbo nation on the other hand has no more desire or strength for such endless battles.

The governors of Lagos, Ogun and Oyo want restructuring. They represent their constituents and are even APC governors. So tell me who these imbeciles and unknown group are to speak for anyone. I am a Yoruba youth and I stand with the Ibadan declaration. If you ask these so called youth to come out and show their face now. They will all run 4/40
Oyo
Ajimobi noted that the local government should be totally subjected to the state irrespective of the region.
“Under this arrangement, local government will be operating completely under the states while revenue allocation formula should be reviewed upward in favour of states to about 35 percent.”

ogun
He said, “On this note, permit me to say our state (Ogun) is very much with our other sister states in the Southwestern Nigeria as per our aspiration and yearning.
“We (in Ogun state) strongly believe in fiscal federalism, we believe that each state should have control of its resources, we beleieve in state police, and basically all the issues we are here to discuss.”

Lagos
Representative of governor Akinwunmi Ambode of Lagos state, Prince Abiodun Ogunleye said the state was in support of restructuring, adding that the position of the recent Yoruba summit in Ibadan remains the position of Lagos state government.

Members of the Yoruba Youths Congress (YYC) have kicked against agitations for restructuring of the country, stressing that it is ill-timed.

Besides, the group said the National Assembly can legislate on certain issues, especially, resource control to favour the state governments.

It said the National Assembly is in the best position to address any issue of socio-economic, political and any seemingly structural imbalances.

It's like you northerners have been trained to give the answer in bolded albeit mischievously anytime the issue of restructuring is raised. Even Buhari gives same retort every now and then.

Alake noted that there was need to restructure the minds of our leaders across the country so that the nation would have nationalists and selfless leaders as against regionalist and self-centred ones.

That can only happen through education, nothing else can restructure the minds of a society more than education. Unfortunately (for you), when people get real education, they'll prefer to be themselves.

What has two Igbo indviduals who made decisions based on the political realities of their day got to do with this?
Atleast they made things happen. They took the bulls by the horn and caused a change.
Awolowo was there and couldn't do shitt for restructuring even when he was in the corridors of federal power.
If you think yorubas can lead the cause for restructuring, you are deluded.
Anyway. Goodluck. But don't count on a joint political action with the South-east. Once beaten , twice shy. If the north offers the Igbo nation something better than restructuring, we will take it.
