[quote author=Jacksonville post=61638615] We can't begin to pursue the lifestyle of others hence making theirs a standard. We are different and our uniqueness is a function of our understanding and revelation of whom we worship. You don't expect one who wants to be extraordinary to follow the path of the ordinary else he yields mediocrity . Do you know how the church of old functioned? . It's high time you stopped comparing the Europeans with the Nigerian way of worship. I repeat, we are different. Nigeria will take the world by storm as the Lord is raising soldiers who will cause havoc in the kingdom of darkness.. The geological formation of the earth was differentiated and tectonically disturbed. The continental plates were believed to have been one(pangea) till they were drifted apart across oceanic beds in position relative to one another, hence forming individual continents. Specifically, Africa being a major continent is like the shape of a gun and Nigeria is located at the trigger... This formation is not ordinary... We haven't started yet. Your judgement of religion is only attributed to Christians, but ur ignorance is overlooked. My Dear martyr don't rule out these option, that those same Europeans made we Blacks even realise this religious of a thingy.... . Think......... |

Raeheemwayne You think. The fact that they made it known to us was all part of God's plan to bring us liberation from eternal condemnation .. Imagine us still sacrificing animals for spiritual cleansing and all other fetish things.. The most important thing is the destiny of our souls. When we close our eyes for good in this realm, where would you find yourself. Don't you want to have an eternal bliss? Perhaps not, If you did, you'd care less of regional and racial differences and become a relativist at most... The KINGDOM is my heart desire.. |

superhumanist: Developed/Educated countries maybe leaving religion but beware!!! Look at China for instance. A child can get run over on the street and no one goes to help. They are like canibalistic zombies already. Religion has a purpose but unfortunately most humans only see its corrupting properties. Religion was an attempt to control human nature but unfortunately human understanding stopped and turned to (control and manipulation). The continuation of the process is to recognize that Humans are a part of a greater living entity which is Life. If you understand that then you will begin to understand that Spirit is separate from Life. Spirit controls your Mind while Life controls your Brain. When you fail to use your Mind you fall victim to the mechanisms of Life that manipulate the Hormones in your Brain. You become a Zombie |

Listen to yourself, "developed countries" are "leaving religion", meaning they attained "development" before ever thinking of leaving religion. What made these countries "developed" in the first place in the midst of religion? Have you asked yourself? Development has NO correlation with religion. You can develop with & without religion. If your country cannot develop in the midst of Christianity, forget it! It won't even if you convert 180 million Nigerians to atheism. |

Jacksonville: I hope that you realise that was what the Jews were doing in the Old Testament - "sacrificing animals for spiritual cleansing and all other fetish things." The Muslims are still doing that today with the Ileya ram killing sacrifice plus the Hajj rites. www.nairaland.com/attachments/6391004_image_jpeg9f360c5ab7736510df54c882e9dbf188 1 Like |
