Let Cameroon show us 'Shekau II' dead body and Mowag APC the same way we display everything in Nigeria grin grin

What's funny is that the last BH video,I don't know if they released another one "Shekau" stood in front of pick trucks not that APC.

Is it safe to say, maybe that APC was captured long AGO?

You also claimed it was destroyed in an air strike.

A month back you were in deep denial, claiming it isn't a Mowag APC but vehicle from Sudan. S

Mokopa has 10km range, now show us the range of the FLIR targeting system on your Rooivalk helicopters.....it is less than 5km... Rooivalk will be withing death zone range of Nigerian army k.iller Roland anti-aircraft missiles and Shilka AAA has 7km maximum range.

Fool of Gauteng ; D ; D
.

.

So you dont know the range of the Rooivalks FLIR

Yet you can tell us that it is less than 5km?

Fool of wonderland grin

and, btw, Shilka has a maximum effective range of only 2.5km.

The effective vertical range is 1.5 km (0.93 mi) at a direct range to target of 2.5 km (1.6 mi) and target speed of 250 m/s (up to 500 m/s if a modern fire control system is used). The usual autocannon burst consists of 3–10 projectiles and target lead angle is calculated for each burst (fire without adjustment) by computer.[13] In attacking targets on the ground, its effective range is around 2.5 km (1.6 mi).

Do you need me to explain the difference between effective and maximum?

Our Airforce constantly sees combat and is by no means under-equipped. We instead have decided to grow our fleet with 40 new helicopters.

21 remaining in 2015.

Nigeria operates more than 24 SA 330 Puma and Super Puma helicopters. Nigeria also operates 6 MI-17 transport helicopters. We have received an additional 10 MI-171SH transport helicopters from our old orders.

The MI-35 is a better, more sophisticated attack helicopter than the Rooivalk. It also has the added advantage of carrying 8 fully equipped troops.

The Airforce flies 5 C-130's, 6 G-222 and 2 known Boeing 737-500 planes.

We have more

You have a requirement of limited requirement of just 24 helicopters, yet you could only afford 10.

A future requirement of 24, a current requirement of 10.

"Life in the South African military is not seen as desirable by many potential recruits. Pay can be erratic, HIV rates are as high as 25% (making these troops unavailable for external deployment) and an estimated 35% of South Africa's military barracks have been classed as unfit for human occupation since 2007 (Mail & Guardian [Johannesburg], April 21, 2012). Without money to operate sophisticated equipment, skilled staff continue to flee at the end of their enlistment and there is little opportunity for new recruits to train in skills useful in the civilian world. Parliament's Joint Standing Committee on Defense has described abuse of women in the SANDF as "common," adding that many female recruits have been impregnated by their instructors (BUAnews, November 26, 2011). Racial abuse of black subordinates by white senior officers also remains a problem 19 years into the integration process. South African troops are unionized and have at times clashed with police during pay disputes."

Oh no you don't. You only have 10, neither could do you have the money to operate them. The U.N pays for the operation of the helicopter in DRC as your government did not have the money to either fly them to the DRC or operate them in the DRC till the U.N reimburses.

The UN pays for their operation as that is standard UN procedure you clown

South Africa's once-effective air force has new aircraft but cannot afford the fuel and maintenance needed to keep them in the air. Despite this, one element of the air force that did see extensive time in the air was Squadron 21, charged with flying South African VIPs and government ministers. Former defense minister Lindiwe Sisilu booked 203 flights over three years in chartered luxury Gulfstream jets at an estimated cost of $4.5 million. Some 63 of the flights were empty, as they were intended solely to pick the minister up somewhere and take her to another destination in what one opposition critic described as "a staggering waste of money"

Our Grip pilots get as many training hours per year as US Fighter pilots, all our squadrons of helos and transports are operational.

All that articular says is that we wasted $4.5 million out of a budget of over $4 Billion

This is the Sad state of the south-african military. You can continue living in your fantasy land all you want, it doesn't however change the sad state of the SANDF.

As apposed to the Nigerian military:

- 18 Rebel groups operate in Nigeria
- Defeated multiple times in open battle by BH
- Lost multiple towns to BH
- Men mutiny
- Men shoot at commanders
- Half a battalion ran away into Cameroon
- you top the world terror rankings
- you leave men stranded on missions in Sudan
- you couldent get a Bn of men to Mali
- when they got there they were of such poor quality that they were regulated to guard duty
- Your Navy is unable to go to sea
- Your waters are the new piracy hot-spot of the world
- 3 of your ships have been blown up by their crews
- you "lose" a Alpha jet. not lost in combat, lost as in "we dont know where it is"
- Your own state leaders ADMIT THAT THEY CANNOT SAFELY ENTER THE CONTESTED AREAS IN NIGERIA

And you insult the SANDF because some ministers wasted some money on flights which support their personal duties?

Lol

Again more paintings. Did you not play with crayons when you were little?

Classic........ When you don't have a rebuttal, this is what you resort to. Pathetic patrick.

"The South African National Defence Force (SANDF), which should be saving lives, is becoming an "armed welfare service which is saving jobs," according to the Democratic Alliance, which was reacting to defence minister Nosiviwe Mapisa-Nqakula's budget speech yesterday.

Mapisa-Nqakula told Parliamentarians they have to apply their minds to assist in righting the SA National Defence Force (SANDF) when she introduced her budget vote this week by ensuring the Defence Review had their full support.

That the country's military is not well was also stressed by opposition Democratic Alliance (DA) party shadow defence and military veterans minister, David Maynier, who told the house the SANDF was "in deep trouble".

Responding to the Minister, the former submariner said it was not in fact a defence budget vote debate - "It is political farce dressed up as debate. We know very little about what is really going on in the SANDF".

"We are spending too much on personnel, we are spending too little on operations and we are spending much too little on capital acquisition,"
