Thiza: Mr. Salkida’s tweet appeared to confirm that the Boko Haram “officer” killed by Nigerian soldiers in Konduga was a different person from Mr. Shekau. In fact, Nigerian security officials have maintained for months that Mr. Shekau was dead, apparently killed by his own disaffected lieutenants in an internal rivalry for control of the terrorist organization. Nigerian army has 'ShekauII' dead body, ask the people who say no, to show us his living body talking .

Thiza: he reported killing of a top Boko Haram leader said to be Abubakar Shekau has again ignited a fresh controversy between Nigerian and Cameroonian troops. Let Cameroon show us 'Shekau II' dead body and Mowag APC the same way we display everything in Nigeria . 2 Likes

agaugust: First, I never said the seekers are a South African invention - so that is irrelevant Second, mmW is not banned (they are talking about something completely different you illiterate buffoon) Third, we do have it and it is fitted - burden of proof is on you to show that we do not |

agaugust: 1. SPAAG like the Shilka is obsolete 2. Type 90 AAA is not mobile enough to keep up with mobile formations, not to mention yours is neither new nor modern 3. Rooivalk can engage the Rolands from 10km out and then come in close if need be. 4. Your 3 airworthy J-7's will be mincemeat - what are 18 Gripens going do be doing? (Apart from dropping JDAM's) 10 Rooivalk = 160 dead T80's |
Re: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by patches689: 1:44pm On Sep 23, 2014 |
agaugust: Maybe you should first get some T-80's and then we can have this debate. Your mythical arsenal is just that... a myth |

andrewza: How is 10 Half-french helicopters equal to half of 24? You don't have Half of your needs. Your military, especially your airforce is grossly under-equipped. 2 Likes |

Henry120: lol, if our air-force is under-equipped what does that say about yours!!?!?! And remeber - maybe half french, but also half-south african (in comparison to your 100% [obsolete] Russian helicopters ) |

andrewza: Nigeria had signed a long standing contract with ukraine for the delivery of T-84M tanks. There hve been tank crews training in the ukraine on the system, even before the Ukraine crisis began. Nigerians do not claim. I provided prove on a Czech republic newspaper which clearly stated nigeria, Algeria and India are to take delivery of T-72's from cezch surplus stock. There is no proof nigeria received or use the following, ****Fighter jets( although we haven't yet seen these) Streit MK III MRAPs MI-35M helicopters T-84 Oplot Gulma Etc etc, however, we've seen photos of nigerian troops and pilots operating these systems. 2 Likes |

patches689: Our Airforce constantly sees combat and is by no means under-equipped. We instead have decided to grow our fleet with 40 new helicopters. 19 previously ordered 21 remaining in 2015. The MI-35M is one of the world's most advanced and sophisticated attack helicopter, and is miles ahead your half-french helicopter. 3 Likes |

Henry120: Nope You have no T-84's Mi-35M's may not be 35M's Limited number of donated MRAP's may not be deemed as worthy of reporting on Ect Etc Facts are that you have no T-72's and no T-80s |

patches689: Oga, go and read that link Augustine has been posting. MRAPs, MI-35M's, MI-17 terminator1SH and lots more. The essence is we haven't seen even a tweet from DHQ to support these facts despite having seen multiple sources to support them. The only facts we know are there are no Data links in SANDF. The only operational Data Links we've seen in SSA have all come from the nigerian military. 2 Likes |

Henry120: The link augubgugugg has been posting is: 1. Not from a trusted site' 2. Inconclusive - what is the purpose of the shipment? Evaluation? Arms Expo? 3. Implies that the shipment has been halted With regards to the data-link, the proof has been posted many times, as well as clear instances of its use. You have yet to provide any-proof of a Nigerian military wide data-link Look guy, if you want to keep slamming your head against a wall and denying the facts, that is fine with me. I can keep posting the sources over and over |

Henry120: And what is the population density of our landmass? Are we evenly distributed across it? We have a higher ratio of helicopters to troops than you do. Same applies to IFV's, Armor, MRAP's and strike-aircraft 10 Rooivalk have been purchased as we only need 10 for escort duties with Air-mobile units, or as hunter-killer/recon for Mechanised and Armor units It only took 2 to defeat the M23 and a number of other Rebel groups 24 is what we will need for the planned expansion of the SANDF to 170 000 men under the NDR |
