Recently, I read a blog saying that One of Nollywood actresses, Oge Okoye to be precise during an interview said there's no big deal for a married woman to go to Night Club, Nairalanders, what are your Opinions?

Are Married women supposed to roll off, give up on the finer things in life to produce kids and take care of the man? I think we have move on since the 2nd century. If Married men can hang in these joints with their pals then Married women can too.

I don't ultimately agree with you on that one, no one says it's okay for a married man to go Night-Clubbing while his wife stays at home taking care of the kids.
To me, I think it's highly immoral on both sides.

I actually met her twice in O-town like some few years back. First time was at All Season and second time was at Concord. She didn't care much even though she came with her own private security, I and couple of other guys danced freely with her, no biggie. Thereafter, I started wondering what she was doing there without her husband. Well to each their own but I can never allow my girlfriend to club all alone let alone a wifey, I sure will have sleepless night till she returns home.

I don't see anything wrong in it, as long as the man permit, why not also ask if it's right for a married to roll out.

Man, clubs is no go area for married couples, i wonder why we don't respect the sanctity of marriage anymore. Married men chasing women like they were forced into marriage. Single girls don't mind dating a married man. Bachelors never satisfied with one woman and single girls running after men like ants after honey.
What is the world turning into. Is this how our parents were brought up.

Its a big NO! The whole idea of a club is to socialise, drink, dance and ultimately meet people or get pulled. As a married woman/ma none of these should interest you, but she/he can seek other ways of unwinding.
Its inevitable that suspicions and doubts of infidelity will creep into their marriage when someone says he danced with her.
By the way who is looking after her kids while she is gyrating the night away?

Not w/o her husband! I would not allow my husband to a club by himself, because too many single ladies go to a club looking for man.

Not a good ideal, going to night clubs is not the only way to have fun. The atmosphere in night
clubs is totally inappropriate for married people even for some people who are not married (Like me)

@ poster,  don't think it is bad as long as the husband and wife go together. I plan on clubbing with my hubby after marriage, after all being married does not mean we cannnot socialize and have fun.
