One of the competitors for the National Chairmanship position of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Chief Bode George, has pulled back from the race.

George is among the nine contenders bumping for the position.

Bode George, an individual from PDP Board of Trustees, made this declaration amid a gathering in Abuja on Friday.

He demanded that he didn't advance down for another competitor and furthermore raised worries about the aftermath of the result of the convention .

According to him, he withdrew because the South West is already cheated with the entrants of aspirants from the South-South.

George made it clear he stands with the micro-zoning principal of the party, which has been abandoned.


He additionally blasted Rivers Governor, Nyesom Wike, for manhandling the Yoruba individuals on a national TV, when he said the South West has never contributed anything significant to the achievement of the PDP.
