The government of Ondo state should immediately raise and arm a local militia group to shoot all herdsmen at sight.

The IGP and DG DSS should be sacked immediately over their inability to bring the criminal activities of these herdsmen to a halt. We definitely cannot continue like this.

@ the bolded, two wrongs don't make a right.

@ second point,.and the two offices mentioned are under who again? That's not gonna happen.

This is a very sad criminal development but unfortunately, people like FFK will politicise it and it won't get the required attention that it deserves.

There is a governor in Ondo state, a state director of DSS and a commissioner of police plus a DPO in the area that the farm is located. These are the people we should hold responsible and not a Buhari that is far away in Abuja. The government of Ondo state should immediately raise and arm a local militia group to shoot all herdsmen at sight. The situation of things in the south west must never be allowed to deteriorate to what we are seeing in Benue and Taraba state.

The IGP and DG DSS should be sacked immediately over their inability to bring the criminal activities of these herdsmen to a halt. We definitely cannot continue like this.
So the Commander in Chief should not be held responsible? Where does the buck stop?
Who was held responsible in the Chibok girls saga?
However, your second point makes sense. Local militia should take over because the FG has failed us.

Your proposal runs against the political and operational realities on ground. The governor is not as powerful as you think, the CP is a puppet controlled from Abuja.

Will the Yorubas continue licking the a rse of the worst thing that has ever happened to Nigeria since Lord Lugard made the mistake of amalgamating us?
The Yorubas should wake up and denounce, reject and oppose Buhari vehemently with all resources at their disposal as the Ibos have long done otherwise the Fulanis next target is to occupy the entire Southwest including Lagos having effectively overrun the Middle Belt.
Yorubas don't know how to be on the same page with Igbos. They have been conditioned to always oppose whatever the stand of the Igbos. If for any reason Igbos turn around and start supporting Buhari, you will see them suddenly opposing Buhari with all they have got. Their position is mostly anti-Igbo and not necessarily pro-Yoruba.

From the energy I see nd feel on comments here in nairaland,it shows that the Youths are aware of the problems surrounding them, but they are weak nd confused not to come out openly nd resist the govt. When. 2face raised a campaign and backed out, they called him a fool nd a coward, but no body never asked him why he backed Out. When Jacob Zuma used state funds to rennovate his private residence,it was just a group of university students in South-Africa that took to the sreets to call him out,and right now he is. Still in court for his actions. But in Nigeria,NOBODY WHANTS TO DIE! But the question is,WHEN WILL YOU DIE?

This is the biggest weakness of Yorubas. A typical yoruba will boldly vote against their own interest just to make sure that Igbos suffer. Their biggest fear in Nigeria is an Igbo man with an equal playing field.

Apart from that, I strongly feel there is a hidden agenda to put a stop to farming activities in the Middle Belt & the South so that the North will have a monopoly on food production in Nigeria.

Nigerians should blame Saraki and his National Assembly for all the killings. Saraki has failed Nigerians because he's been quiet about these killings.

Just like Buhari, keeping quiet about the mass slaughter of people all over the country by Buhari's ethnic group tantamounts to tacit endorsement of the killings.

Saraki and Dogara should know that inaction by them is worst than the actions of the fulani herdmens killers. When you refuse to do something (words backed-up by actions) about a bad situation you agree with the behavior that creates the unwanted event or circumstance. The time is now for national assembly members and Saraki to stop hiding under the table.

Saraki should come out from hiding and tackle Buhari and his fulani agenda of running over other ethnic groups in Nigeria by initiating impeachment procedures right away. I say this because condemning herdsmen in words only is not enough. Taking action means challenging the real sponsor of these carnage through impeachment or its attempt, thereof.

Again, anything short of impeachment talk by Saraki and his national assembly is a show of support for buhari and his fulani ethnic group that is slautering people all over Nigeria.

Is it not now clear to everyone who has sense that there is serious plan underway to dominate and subjugate the South?

When Seasterners were saying this during the last general election, some people who felt they were wise were insulting them.
Where are all those who campaigned and voted for Buhari?
Where are all the Monikers that kept on screaming "Sai baba!" all over nairaland?

Have you now accepted that you were foolish beyond description?

Next time, you'll understand that it's not by sentiments and tribalism; your actions and inactions have direct and indirect consequences on you and your people.

You said that I am stupid for voting Buhari, your forefathers must be very stupid. Should I have voted the drunk ineffectual buffoon husband of the cantankerous grammarian sheppopo? Goatluck lead the country into recession and there was only one other option which was Buhari. If there were other reasonable options, I and the millions of people that voted Buhari would have opted for another option. But definitely not the drunk Otukoe fisherman who looted the national treasury and shared it among his gang of 40 thieves.

If you present Atikuchukwu as your other option in 2019, I will still vote Buhari, that is if the current crisis has not consumed him and his family. As for Buhari and his fellow Fulani herdsmen, the Thunder that will strike them is doing training with ISIS. They will also be destroyed and their children will never grow. These same Fulani men will suck their own blood and eat their own flesh.

Mind you however, Olu Fale is not one of Yoruba elders. He is one useless old fool. He collected 100 million from Goatluck to rig the 2015 election for him, but God pass them. When the old fool was picked up by EFCC, he cried and wept that he is too old to stay in prison and that EFCC should please not make him die in EFCC custody. At the end of the day, he refunded part of money because he has used the major part for his farm and was released.

Alas!
Insulting Goodluck who sold fuel for N87 for 5 years while supporting Buharri who sells fuel for N250 is the real definition of slavery.
Goodluck was corrupt and people were feeding fine, Buharri is not corrupt but people are being slaughtered daily, and you are here talking.

Which northern senators?

All southern states will vote in favor of the impeachment. Within the middle belt and the states under attack by Buhari's ethnic group, don't you think they'd vote against Buhari now that they see he hates them and ant their people to be killed by his ethnic group? Just 4 states in the middle belt/north central is all that is needed to impeach Buhari.

More so, just the talk of impeachment will force Buhari to sit up because it will create engagement and force him to address these issues, instead of every one acting as cowards and hiding under the table in the national assembly whose job is to checkmate the executive branch.

Let u try it and see. Saraki should step up and show leadership from the front, not this leading from behind that he is doing.
