For some reason that flower reminds me of a bat when its hanging upside down trying to sleep. I'm a big fan of nature . . . but the flower in the picture gives me the creeps. |

ayettymama: Not sure ( I went on a florist's course years ago I am addicted to evening classes, you know how cheap they are in the UK). It's said sending flowers goes back to the Roman times, but who can tell. The National flower of Nigeria is the COSTUS SPECTABILIS.

Many black countries have been suppling the west with flowers, ok the Dutch are one of the main players, but even they export (rob) from black producers. I will leave this @topic, the poster my be offend that we are going off@Topic. By the way COLOMBIA is very big in this market, but I am not sure how to class them. |
