Have you forgotten that last year in plateau state when soldiers were deployed after something like this, the people taught the soldiers came to protect them only for the soldiers to disappear and the Fulani's came to butcher them. The survivors narrated the story and it made front page.

There is tension in Benue State Commissioner following the gruesome killing of seven Fulanis who were lynched and burnt by irate youths in Gboko area of Benue State on Wednesday (yesterday). Multiple reports have it that soldiers have been deployed today from Abuja to Gboko, Benue State after crisis.

The victims were said to be travelling either to Okene in Kogi State or Taraba State when criminals attacked, killed and burnt them to ashes.

Troops have currently stationed themselves in the region in order to prevent any reprisal attack.

I agree with you, but for the deployment of the military Gboko would have been a ghost town by now.....history shows that anywhere the Fulanis are killed by locals, the locals take to their heels, especially in Benue. Even when the locals slaughtered Nigerian troops in Zaki Biam and fed on their hearts and intestines like cannibals they ran away from that particular village the gruesome killing of our soldiers took place and relocated to nearby hamlets....
