Wonderful people of Nairand, it is very Claire that Star TV has come to stay and has come to serve Nigeria. the Star TV will not crash-land or increase tariff like recent people they are here to stay People has been coming to obtain theirs and they are really enjoying it too and calling to give positive comments about the Star TV.
I am only a dealer but i will never venture into deal that will crash in the nearest future deal that will not last long.

we already knew about all these packages months before they became available on digital terestial. peeps here have been watching them for free courtesy w2a c band.

there is no need advertising here because the fact that the chinese scrambled it on c band will not make us rush and buy those decoders of theirs. like i said before, even if it is 1 kobo per month, if it is not free then it is not better than fta.

in any case, 99% of those packages we are still getting them for nothing on motorised dishes, so what's the big deal?

if that startv box isn't up to date in terms of mpeg4 technology & isn't fta flexible &compliant ,then it is a load of rubbish & i would rather spend the 10k on more interesting stuffs!!!

caution &patience is required in this startimes drama. the last time i was at alaba, one of the agents at the frontage told me he was fixing some problem on this 'plug n play'box.my advice to all is that we should wait a little while &see if those chinese guys would stand their ground.why don't you save your hard-earned money before you go the way of daarsat customers.

Actually from the onset they mentioned that they'll have two channel packages; one for N1000.00 and the full package for N1,800.00. All the confusion about them won't have arisen if they just had a website where the information about them is readily available. Since they are in partnership with NTA why not just create a page on the NTA website for Startv info before they launch a dedicated website
