Look, there's no denying some igbo have some factories in Lagos but it is a fallacy to say most are owned by Igbo. It is certainly not so, there are many big multinational companies in Lagos. I really don't want to argue this with you because this is just another tale told by igbo to make themselves happy.
Let us wait patiently until the Akwa ibom port is completed then you will not have Yoruba to be blamed any longer.

Don't mind the jokers.

Another one claimed Onitsha Market is the largest in the Milky Way and the US Army came there to buy drones.

Imagine Not IPOB but US Army in Onitsha

You would hear a story like this waiting for them to smile or laugh. For where .They are dead serious and not joking at all

I pray this port is completed on time so your hypothesis can be put to test. Most importers are not igbo. The biggest importers are the big companies centered around Lagos and Ogun. Most are multinationals.

Nobody is begrudging you about who imports more. He is only telling you that importers in the SS, SE and middle belt will find it easier...

Akwa ibom definitely needs a seaport ,but with that,it must also work on industrialization and also partner with manufacturers from across Nigeria for exportation.
Nigeria neither manufactures nor exports anything . The Lagos seaport is 90 percent importation and less than 10 percent exportation. The exportation market at Lagos seaport is saturated. For Akwa ibom seaport to be viable, the government must industrialize . For example , the pencils , toothpick and seafood at Akwa Ibom could be exported from the seaport.
Lagos seaport already has Dangote products and other Nigerian manufacturers on lock down. Akwa ibom must manufacture things to export.

Build the seaport first and we will industrialize Akwa Ibom.

See contradiction. If Yoruba and Hausa are aversed to fair competition, do ibos compete fairly?
Are fake goods fair competition?
Some people steal cars, break them down to be sold as parts is that fair competition?
Fake drugs, is that fair competition. I put it to you that igbo actually thrive on unfair and dubious way of doing business.

...but despite these and...in other to ease your pain...you swear to kill more milions...but first send python dance for these fake people to forcefuly remain in one country as you. Isn't this a morbid contradiction?

i mentioned it another thread that a major seaport in ibaka( deeper than apapa even without dredging) will finish lagos in a couple of years.
The truth is most importers are igbos. If this port comes to fruition, the south east/ south south will be the main nexus whether you yorubas like it or not.
You dont like to hear the truth but its actually the igbos that are keeping lagos afloat. About 70% of our imports are headed to the SE/SS. Once they build this port, a lot of importers will not bother using apapa or tincan.
A major seaport NEAR igboland will change this country for good. mark my words! If only we were truly "a nation" with love for each other, a major seaport in the SS/SE wil industrialize this country faster than you think.
Do you know how much an aba based shoemaker will save if he's imports are just 1 or 2 hours drive away from his factory. More companies will spring up. innoson will import his parts through ibaka because his factories are in enugu.
The advantages to the SE/SS is enormous.

Afonjas know about this and that is why they don't like hearing it.

they should decongest Lagos seaport, viable seaport in Akwa ibiom will make it easier for our brother's doing business across Niger bridge... Why is the FG sitting all ports only in the South West region? Does it means other regions are landlocked? Opening up another port to the South East will surely reduce traffic to their port and hence boast economic blossom for the South Eastern business orientated industry whom would benefit immensely from a container port.

The contruction company could be owned by the government. For example Akwa ibom Construction company, Akwa ibom Electric, Akwa Ibom transport corporation, etc. just like there's Tokyo Electric and Tokyo Construction. they would handle and maintain all construction projects .The workers would be working for the government.

That is fine but concessioned and constructed by foreigners in summary, nothing wrong in owning public assets in Nigeria, but management and construction of such assets must not be run by Nigerians if you want that asset to be sustainable and viable!

My 2 cents.

First of all, sea ports are not built just anywhere, it has to be physically and geographically suitable. Lagos is a natural harbour and the Portuguese found it as such even long before the British came.
In essence, the Lagos port was in existence before Nigeria was created. How many of the 36 states you mentioned are even coastal states?
There are countries several times the size of Nigeria with no more than 4 container ports, with other points connected by rail.
If you like you can build a port on every river bank you can find because you want to compete but they still have to be profitable. Otherwise, you will end up with giant abandoned ports.
please you should let the east and their brothers from SS do the worrying... u are shedding tears more than the bereaved, let have seaport across Niger bridge let see how it goes... The Yoruba's come up with insolent lies and blame the non functionality of ports in South South and South East regions to be attributed to insecurity in the South South region. I then ask: How come this same 'insecurity' didn't stop petroleum activities in that same region the way it 'affected' port activities?

The fundamenta proble the Eboes have is that they lie a lot . When confronted with the truth they just ignore it because it is NOT CONVENIENET

Now you want to rewrite history to indicate that Yoruba and Hausa Fulanni have been running the country

Let us look at the facts

In 1960 a at independennce

Zik was the President and his party NCNC went into coalition with Tafawa Balewa's Party the NPC while the Action Group(Yoruba) went into opposition

1n 1965 after the second election AGAIN

Zik was the President and his party NCNC went into coalition with Tafawa Balewa's Party the NPC while the Action Group(Yoruba) went into opposition

In 1979 Shagari was President Alex Ekwume was the Vice President They were both in the NPN

Again Zikk and his party the NPP went into coalition with Shagari and their party was rewarded with the Speaker of the House of Representatives in the person of Edwin Ume Ezeoke Again Awolowo le his party the UPN and the Yoruba into opposition

In 1983 another election
Again Zikk and his party the NPP went into coalition with Shagari and their party was rewarded with the Speaker of the House of Representatives in the person of Edwin Ume Ezeoke Again Awolowo le his party the UPN and the Yoruba into opposition only this time the Biafra warlord Ojukwwu had been pardoned and he returned to join NPN.

So why then this pretence about the truth how is it that the Yoruba have been able to frustrate orts in the East from OPPOSITION

i know from your nature you willl just ignore the facts because you don't like them but please stop this nonsense and fiction about the Yoruba and Hausa running the country.

The Eboes and their Hausa masters have beeen running or should I say ruining the country for ever.

STOP THE SELF DECEPTION and face realiity

Nothing in your response invalidates my post. Was Yoruba in opposition when Awolowo was finance minister during the war. I guess Yoruba was also in opposition under murtala and obasanjo. Yourba was also in opposition when Bola Ige claimed pdp was implementing AD agenda just to rub it in that their brother is in charge. Yoruba was also opposition minded when AD withdrew from presidential race so their brother in a different party can win. That is, Yoruba went to play opposition in a government they helped come to power. Na wa for hypocrisy.

You can have your own opiniion but not your own facts.

Yes Awolowo was Finance Minister during the war and what a manager he was he Saved the allocations for the East Central state and after the war handed it over. He did not borrow to prosecute the war.

Compare that with Eboe finaance Ministers like Okonjo Iweala who had the most revenues as Finance inimster in our history. Once again Most revenue in our history. She borrowed to fight Boko Haram and to pay Salaries. Awo had the Honour to RESIGN after the war something an Eboe would NEVER do as you have no honour.

WHY DID IWEALA NOT BUILD THE IBAKA PORT WITH THE $100 OIL?

There have been other Eboe Finance ministers like Chu Okongwu so stop the selective picking of facts .

Fact is you are the ones with your Fulani Masters that have run and ruined the country

FACTS ARE STUBBORN

He didn't borrow because free donations came from abroad to prosecute the war for Nigeria. This is very simple and straightforward, a no brainer. The creditor was simply not asking for a refund because you are doing their dirty job. So my dear no kudos to financial prowess.

Yes Okonjo Iweala inherited a financial mess of over forty years of decadence built by you and your cohorts. Her apt advices contributed in no small way to pay off those humongous debt burden.

Why do we still believe Free Trade Zone is a good development?...when in fact it is an exploitation of cheap labour , often an environmental danger and robs the country of revenue....the reason why FTZ are never in developed countries. The companies pretty much have "diplomatic immunity' in that they are not bound by local laws in the FTZ...they make their own rules...pay workers what they want to...usually impose fines for every little thing to reduce the little they pay. ..dump whatever toxic waste destroying the environment and when all is done...pack up and move on to the next location. But this...we call development...foreign investment.
@ topic...Deepwater port...excellent...location...great. But how would goods be transported to and from the port? There is no talk of constructing a suitable road network. Sooo short sighted.
how are the goods transported out of Apapa/Tin can... suitable road network? guy park on corner abeg....

The raod leading to Tin can 1st and 2nd gate is totally off the earth. and the other to Apapa wharf is witnessing AG Dangote playing chinko chinko on top. once again, oga park well angry

Your premise that Yorubas have been running the country is flawed and foolish. You can try as much as you like to change the subject but I have given the facts to show that Eboes and Fulanis are the ones who have been in charge for MOST OF OUR HISTORY

Wen you are flummmoxed with your first lie you start anooother set of childish lies. Donations WTF

even your brother Eboe Soludo criticised the debt payment saying she got a bad deal . failed to verify many which were bogus and did not negotiate toughly enough.

That was under Obasanjo

Under Jonathan she had EVEN MORE money with $100 oil . What did she do with it.

Her first act of incompetence was the January 1 petrol price increase and subsidy scam. Under her watch subsidy quadrupled with no explanation. A massive fraud was uncovered and no one punished. She was an absolute disgrace

You people are incredible

Okonjo had more money at her disposal than any Finance Minister in our history and she wasted and ismanaged it all
