Father's day is for men who are put in the work to raise the kids and actually be a father to these kids.

If a woman plays the role of father and mother in her kids lives, then she has every right to celebrate herself on both Fathers day and mothers day.

I couldn't have put it better. Seriously, people need to understand that there's a clear difference between a Father and a sperm donor. You don't expect to be celebrated as a father when you don't play the role of a father in the lives of your kids.

If a woman is single handedly raising up her kid because the sperm donor is just an absentee father or totally irresponsible, then I think she has every right and reason to celebrate herself even on fathers day.

I agree with you on this; A day needs to be set aside for the sperm donors. Only those who truly are fathers should celebrated on Father's Day.
