Are you listening to yourself? it means you can do more than that fool has done. what if the doctor was not around,cant the Nurse do the basics she can do. moreover Nurses codes of ethics says that you dare not kneel down on uniform for anybody, she is trying to respect the uniform. Irrespective of what could have happened the Doctor does not have the right whatsoever to lay his hand on the Nurse. Justice must be serve and he must face justice.

I was just talking in another post about how 99% ibos like everything evil an ibo says to and about Yoruba. They have mob mentality and nothing can take that away from them, they all face where the first person faces. That's why I keep saying we are too different from these people and should be separate from them. The other day it was a story of a Doctor pouring wound infested water on a nurse. The patient in question was called and when she gave an eye witness account, the case is closed. The nurse didn't come back to tender and apology.

The Doctor was screaming that what the nurses are doing, leaving him to attend to an injured patient alone is not fair, and the nurse was giving very terrible attitude. While still shouting in anger at the negligent attitude of the nurses, the bowl fell down and splashed on both the patient and the nurse, which was an obvious mistake. Yet the nurse blew it out of proportion and claimed the Doc poured it twice. The patient said it was false and the nurses have no manner or milk of human kindness.

After this everyone have remained silent.

The best nurses I know attended school of Nursing and have outshined the portfolio bearing BNSC nurses, who are only good at formenting trouble in the name of protecting a profession that is hunted by none.

Don't allow the fact that you are a nurse cloud your thinking vis-a-vis your judgement. The state of Nigerian health sector today is as a result of a lot of factors. No single health profession single-handedly brought it to this point and if it's going to improve, all hands have to be on deck. Sentiments is one of the factors that have led us to where we are today. I have met with a lot of so-called graduate nurses that are nothing to write home about and also met some non-graduate nurses that shined. The fact that u just put a fellow nurse down shows the kind of person you are.
The difference between u and them is the "graduate" in ur name. I have worked with a lot of nurses and I've never had any issues with anyone of them. Even when issues arise, I ensure they are resolved amicably. When we stop judging professions based on individual members' behaviours, then we can think of how to move forward.
