One of Nigeria’s leading airlines Dana Air, has won the Best Customer Service Airline award at MamaJ’s Aviation Careers Conference held recently in Lagos,at the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority Annex, Lagos

MamaJ Aviation Careers conference is an annual seminar to create a platform to introduce and mentor aspiring youths and other invited guests to the many career opportunities that exist in the aviation industry and also to celebrate and honor outstanding Aviation Professionals and stakeholders who have contributed immensely to human capital development in the aviation industry in Nigeria.

The Media and Communications Manager of Dana Air, Kingsley Ezenwa, while receiving the award on behalf of Dana Air, said ‘I want to say a big thank to MamaJ Aviation Consult for this award. We are delighted that our customer centric products and our efforts towards providing excellent service to our valued guests is being rewarded and this will only spur us to continue.’’

Kingsley while reacting to a comment by one of the invited guests about the short lifespan of airlines in Nigeria said,’ Dana Air will be 10 years in November and this only shows that we have a structure and management style that is worthy of emulation and we are in it for the long haul.’’

Also speaking at the conference, the Founder, MamaJ Aviation Consult limited, Joy Ogbebo said, the conference is a non – profit career initiative to promote aviation education advocacy for youths in an emerging world.

So many people thought Dana air would go into oblivion due to the Nigerian factor after the crash years back. Instead they came back better and stronger and have been winning awards back to back.

Lesson: Whenever things get so bad and horrible and it looks like all hope is lost........from school, to job, to businesses to marriages and even health. Don't give up!!!!!!
Struggle with your last strength to bounce back.

Dana that placed several times schedules on their websites, had time schedule for 1:40 flight, 3:25 flight.

Then they deliberately delayed those on 1:40pm flight that they had operational problems, then sent messages of delayed flight, only for them to merge flight of 1:40pm with that of 3:25 pm...
That's the worst deceit I've seen. They knew all along, and all along their plan was to merge the two flights together.

The worst thing was that the whole plane was packed like sardine due to merging of flight and everyone on board were almost suffocating...before the flight could take off from Lagos to Abuja was already around 5pm, ended up landing at Abuja at 6pm...thats for a flight of 1:40pm

Dana and other airlines won't hesitate to punish anyone who misses their flight or got late to check in but when it's their turn, nothing happens.

Dana should learn to appreciate that people that chose 1:40 pm flight did it for a reason and should not toy with people's time.

Yet they are winning best customer's service.

Those who boarded Dana, Lagos to Abuja on Saturday can testify of the horrible experience they had.

this funny indian people have been organising bogus award for their mumu airline. this year alone they have received over 15 useless arrangee awards and recognition. people wey nor serious
