The problem and trouble with Nigeria from 1914 till date. For amalgamating reasonable Nigerians with brutes & barbaric humanity, Lord Lugard will never find peace even in death.

You are very correct only that three other fingers point at you and you scored own goal. You think a xtian country (UK) that brought religion to you, clothed thee and civilized you people would gave northern leadets the country for nothing? While the north was civilized and well organised even b4 the white men came calling, you people in the East and parts of the west were moving around stark naked wallahi! You were pagans and barbaric as recently as 1940. Just look for an old Pic of the part of naija u came from and confirm it. Read history man and save yourself the self inflicted insults

@quote in bold.

The language, education, and religion they gave us is the the reason for what you just mentioned. Britain is still in charge but we're trained to perpetually continue enslaving ourselves on their behalf. We are still in slavery and we will never be free until we bring an end to the cause of what you observed.

Should you want to pursue it further, two books have explained how we're trained to continue our enslavement by ourselves.

(1). Intellectual slavery, the worst legacy of colonialism: https://www.nairaland.com/4595660/intellectual-slavery-worst-legacy-colonialism

(2). Yurugu: https://www.nairaland.com/4871133/every-african-should-please-read

Thank you very much. I'll do well to read those books

English isn't a living thing, rather it is an abstract. So I cannot teach lesson to what I cannot see & touch. I better teach the illiterate southerners like you a lesson.

These re.tar.ded abo.kis spewing nonsense here are so ridiculous. These bingos think that 1930's was during the dark ages, lol. By the 1930's the South already has many of its people in schools within and outside Nigeria. When did Nnamdi Azikiwe travel to the United States for his university education??
These illiterates that have succeeded in destroying Nigeria did not know that the reason why Lugard (may he rot in the hottest part of hell) chose to work with the North rather than the South was because they discovered that the South were intelligent and would never worship them unlike the North who were ready to do all their bidding.

Lol, north was advanced in the 19th century only to become a worthless place in the 21st century, Imao.

The South would have been a middle income nation today and probably better than South Africa if not for the barbarian and savage north that has refused to evolve.
You said it all. The thing is that northern Nigeria has and will never be as developed or civilized as the south as long as they continue with their backward and zombie mentality and lifestyle and no amount of chest beating can change that. Imagine people still practicing transhumance in this 21st century. All these illiterate and filthy northerners that are masturbating on this tread can only dream to have the living conditions and human development obtainable in the south.

Of course the black man will always blame someone else, slavery was a business just the same way we sell our raw crude today,we sold ourselves the white man did not force us,open slavery was the biggest business for over 400 years and is still big time today, the United states fought a civil from 1861 - 1865 because of the abolishment of slavery,go and do your research and find out what gave men like Tippu Tip so much wealth, abi you think say na only you done study or live for UK & Yankee?

The partitioning of Africa was done in Berlin in 1888,are you still blaming the white man for the black man's woes?,The Europeans founded The United States and Canada, why are they not like sub saharan Africa, the honest truth is that the black man has a fundamental problem on progression be it in the US,UK or Africa but a thousand times worse in Nigeria.,Africa.

When the British left Nigeria finally in 1963 after we became a republic, electricity was everywhere, why not use their so called black magic to produce electricity today?

Hey! The Berlin conference was between 1884 and 1885 not 1888 and that was when the partitioning of Africa was done.

I'm sure you don't know the meaning of those words u used up there..the truth remains that amalgamation of the northern and southern protectorates was the biggest mistake ever made in history.restucturing still remains the best option everyone should go back to his region and develop it.

Words of a Failure, whose fault you were consummated in Nigeria?blame your parents, the scripture says better a still born at birth than to see the wickedness of the world, you are complaining about Lord Frederick Lugard a man that died before your great grandfather was born, you might as well also question your whole existence? The sooner you find out who you are the better for you.
Read your history books well .Islam was in northern Nigeria long before unman Dan folio.Read about hausa banza and hausa bokwai. What he only did was to enslave the hausas and dominate their land
