Well I don't know abt respect but their freaking attitude towards money is terrible.

I've hrd a senior pastor in deeper life confessed that "igbo man no dey born again finish o".. The pastor is a delta man... He spoke frim his years of experience. I've also heard of lots of confession about how many catholic and church-going Igbo men defy their conscience when it comes to money.

Then recently I had a personal experience too. Wanted to fix my car A.C, asked around from ppl the price of a compressor.. But I chose to buy it from d Igbo guy since he was a Peugeot specialist, he sold it 6k higher than d normal price but I wasn't bothered, I trusted him for the best work done. Then on d day to fix the A.C, he brought out old compressors of other peugeot cars (mine was 307) he had in his shop and started exchanging parts from one to the other, he coupled different parts and had a hand-made compressor, I was dazed but I didn't talk. He said it will work.

It was the A.C fixer who was a Benue man that told me silently, " Oga, this compressor go damage your brainbox o, and e go trouble ur engine welwel, e better make you reject am till he buy u ur motor own gongon or u collect ur money go market go buy am urself" I changed my strategy immediately and collected my money. The mumu now started shouting on d A.C man that he's spoiling his market and making him bad before his customers. This is a man who talks about Christianity and has 2 big bibles..one in his car, another in his shop.

Igbos..I fear those ppl o. Their girls too expect money to be in ur hands all the time, they don't believe a man can ever go broke.
