Before you shout Buhari and APC;

PDP CREATED POVERTY.....

This analysis below is important to common man.... who are majority Voters in this 2019 elections.....

1. They said when Buhari took over from them a bag of rice was N11,500 but they took over when it was N2,500

2. They said when Buhari took over from them ltr of petrol was N87 but they took over when it was N11.

3. They said when Buhari took over from them $1 was N235 but they took over when it was N20.

4. They said when Buhari took over from them a bag of cement was N2,000 but they took over when it was N400.

Really?
Is that how you see it?
1. When PDP took over in 1999 a bag of rice sold at #2500 but left it at #7500 in 2015. That a period of 16 years but in just 3 years Buhari has taken it to #22500. With PDP there was a #5000/increment in 16 years but with APC there's a #15000 increment in just 3 years.
Tell me who's more rascal and clueless.
At this rate a bag of rice will sell for #100000 should APC spend the next 16 years in power.

Do the same for the other items you listed and see how bleak the situation is.

You are just exposing your ignorance here. It's clear you are supporting Buhari out of ignorance and you can be excused for that. Now let me enlighten you using your own figures here. 11500-2500 =9000. Divide the difference by 16years. Do same for N18000 - 11500 =6500 , then divide 6500 by 2 years of APC . It's called consumer price index in economics, indicating inflation rate increase. You can do that for all the products you listed here, then see how incompetent your Buhari is. Not everyone can be deceived.

my point is... the metric for measuring poverty rate is very wrong. Different countries have different cost of living and different purchasing power parity (ppp).

So, as an example... if a nigerian can buy 2 beers everyday at 250naira each (500naira or $1.3) and a ghanain can buy the same at 8cedis each (16cedis or $3.2), the nigerian is automatically living below extreme poverty while the ghanaian is living above poverty.

Now, which sense can u find there?
Dont mind them they are using that nonsense to change governments

Good timing for this article

Half a nation living in poverty

Add the kids and that's nearly all the country

PDP was never about people growing hungry or poor

We need people with experience running an economy

Chase APC out

Abi o. If they know what oil countries such as Angolans and Venezuela folks are passing through during this global crude oil price recess, they will thank God Buhari came in rather than Jonathan who looted us dry during oil boom when it was selling at $110 per barrel for five years unlike the paltry $50 it has been selling under APC. If Jonathan couldn't save during the time of plenty and was already borrowing, how woukd he have carried on during this crude oil price recess?

Venezuelas woes are because they foolishly embraced socialism .

That of Angola is just plain old corruption and mismanagement .

As Nigerians we can either do any of these two things
1, Try to prove the survey wrong and claim things are getting better.
2, make the important changes and hold our leaders accountable

Now, which sense can u find there?

With what money would they have used to diversify when you consider the affairs of Nigeria would still need to be run as well? Aren't you part of the folks that keep complaining about minimum wage?

Fact is Jonathan was in the position to diversify because there was oil boom during his regime but he looted everything. You should be happy Buhari came in, if not our fate would be worse than other oil countries such as Venezuela and Angola who are the main hit by this global crude oil price recess. If Jonathan was already borrowing despite oil boom, how would he have carried on during this recess?
