Is there anything I can do to convince him about the age? That I am willing to work with him. I have tried everything but still to no avail. He said the age difference would always be there. He is 12 years older than I am. It hurts so much because he said he liked me a lot, we connected but the age difference would always be at the back of his mind. I am so hurt. Wish I could do something different.
I already have my degree and if he wants to settle, I am willing but all to no avail.

He is so ready to settle down. He is very responsible and wants to settle. That's even my fear, he would get someone closer to his age as he said and settle.

It still hurts. Life is too short to be thinking of it that way. I believe if one makes you happy, go with it, rather than thinking of ifs and buts.

It could be that your bf is scared of committing himself because at your age you might not know what you want. Marriage can be very complicated, involving not just the two of you but also the extended family.
He might just be scared that you are not ready for the commitment.
You are still Young and have time on your hands.
Just keep being decent and prayerfull, many suitors are yet to come.

You're too young for marriage. My uncle is 10yrs older dan his wife and ppl are always jealous of thier love and nuclear family relationship. So,age should not be a barrier . If he can wait till you're 27,by then,you'll be more matured,then its oK. But since he want to break up on the basis of age df,then leave him and move on. You'll find yours but remember your creator
