Watch the video of OBJ below:

then this of IBB:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FGC6C4s3p0c

The ideal title should then be "TWO RETARDS CLASH"

aduboy:

Obj single handedly brought biafra to its knees(GEJ on independence day award). He has continued to fight that war and even gave up biafran territories to cameroon for betterment of Nigeria. What else can a man do to prove his love for his nation. Ibb in turn tried to make policies and plans for development of nigeria but failed and increased economic woes of nigeria. He also realised that biafra war has ended unlike obj. Both are saints once your interest is covered by either and
criminals when your interest is not covered by either.
Single-handedly?
A war that lasted 30months?
Even superman could not have achieved that in the most fictionalised film
Forget GEJ - another power-hungry, history-twisting, garisson politics PDP aspirant
GEJ would not tell you the whole truth while trying to curry electoral favours

Did he bring corruption to its knees?
Did he not intimdate his political enemies by indicting them for no reason CF Tejuoso who had never been in government and who just wanted to contest against Iyabo

Patriotism? Will he have given Bakassi away if that was his local government
When EFCC was on Iyabo's case, did he ask her to turn herself in?
A patriotic father would have put the nation first and advised her to go and clear her name

Inasmuch as  I never liked OBJ because he squandered a lot of opportunities,  but his economic policies were better for Nigeria. IBB never had any economic policies and  destroyed Nigeria. OBJ had to settle all money IBB and co borrowed from Paris Club, IMF and World bank.
Re: IBB, OBJ Clash by Keegan: 3:17pm On Oct 09, 2010
Reap whatever you sow
1979 OBJ relinquished power willing and handed over to Shagari (the acclaimed winner)
1999 OBJ regained power
…One good turn deserves another you may say

1993 IBB relinquished power reluctantly and failed to hand over to MKO (the acclaimed winner)
2011 IBB will be denied power (remember ABN’s Nzeribe is still alive)
…What about one bad turn?
Re: IBB, OBJ Clash by dejiariyo1: 3:28pm On Oct 09, 2010
Let not forget that IBB was a military president and in any country MIlitary president are always the worst but what can you say about Obasanjo a civillian, who they asked on national Tv why he was increasing the fuel price, he said and i quote, petrol is cheaper than ragolis water and so thats not good, we need to make petrol costlier than ragolis water.

Who remember the town called Odi? obasanjo levelled the whole town and till tmrw no one is asking him questions.

Who remember the presidential library that obasanjo turned to obasanjos library? where is the N6.4billion that was collected for the controversial presidential library that is adjudged to be illegal?

NNPC, N311billion that should have been paid into the revenue account, who does remember that?

N84billion was missing in NPA, involving a bigwig of the ruling PDP , chief Bode George, who remember that?

Anyone remembers the  Chief Egunjobi, of the Beach Land Estate? that Obasanjo claim to own?

who owns Ajaokuta Steel Mills, Delta Steel Complex, Jos Steel Rolling Mills, Oshogbo Machine Tools and Itakpe Iron Ore Company? Who is deceiving whom? Who is the largest shareholder in UBA? Who bought out the shares of Akeem Bello-Osagie and threatened him with arrest and imprisonment?

Who was the largest shareholder in First Interstate Bank Ltd, before the merger into Unity Bank?

Who owns the majority shares in Virgin Nigeria? Who gave the airline special facilities at the international wings of our airports at the cost of N400million?

Why does Virgin Nigeria not pay parking and landing fees and purchase aviation fuel at a discount, while at the same time competing in the same market with other local airlines?

Why should one man set up Transcorp, devalue our national assets, obstruct free and fair competition and sell everything to himself and family? If not, why did Transcorp purchase almost the entire NITEL for $750million, when Globacom bidded $1.2billion for the same property?

Vmobile sold a fraction of its shares for $1.2billion. How could all of NITEL with a vast net worth of digital exchanges, armoured cables, three international gateways, among others, sell for only $750million?

This one man operates six farms in six states of the federation. What is the source of the funds for these massive investments? What is the deal between this one man with the owner of Mittal of India? Why the hurry in granting Block 246 to the Indian conglomerate? was Nigeria for sale?

who is the real owner of Obajana cement factory?

Who is the owner of Eleme Petrochemicals?

Who has the largest shares in Arik Air? Why did the government sell the Nigeria Airway Hanger to this airline not through bidding, negotiation?

Why did government allocate lucrative international routes to Arik Air even before it bought planes for operation, when other existing airlines doing very in the country were denied such a priviledge?

Who are the people that import fuel into the country since 1999? Who has the largest shares in Transcorp? How was NICON HILTON HOTEL Abuja acquired by Transcorp?

the Israeli arms deal where some government official made about $100million for themselves?

What is EFCC doing about the tokunbo presidential planes that were bought as new? Where is the report into the probe of COJA? Where is the report on Mantu, about he mismanaged the haji N400million funds?

About $700m was realised during the 2002/2003 bidding rounds but only the sum of about $145m was released to the PTDF. At this point, the pertinent question to ask is: where is the balance and who used it and under what law or which appropriation sub-head.

Anyone remember the lagos fund that was witheld by Obasanjo for 4 good years in his personal account and when he eventually paid the money the interest was not given to the state, who remember that?

I told you, Obasanjo was owing 200,000 naira in 1998 when he came out of jail but in 2007 Ota farm was worth 20billion naira, what happened and how did that happened when the Agriculture sector in the country went down?  by 2004 Obasanjo was making 30 million naira (US $227,000) every month every month, imagine what that would be now

who is this man fooling?

we know that obj is a big thief and deregulated the price of petrol and he is to be blamed for that, but ibb was the one that started corruption at the first place, taking nigerians for a ride, he voted nigeria to be an islamic nation when other religious are still in the nation saying no.
ibb gave power to abacha saying to us it's a coup
and yes obj was a poor man but after his tenure he became one nigerian richest man

Slow down. . .Is Obj going to be blamed for a crime committed by his vice-president,Bode george or his associates ? You are asking so much unclear questions ? What I'm going to ask you is to show crimes that were DIRECTLY committed by Obj as a president not BPE,PTDF crimes that were perpetrated by Atiku or NPA that was perpetrated by Bode George.what has Obj got to do with a crime committed by his daughter ? Lol just shows how narrow and shallow ur thinking is, do u think any fruad will be perpetrated by any tier of the Goverment if the president is not involved and if what you said was right then we are in deep trouble, its shows Obasanjo is not capabale to bring things into order.why did he set up the anti corruption group efcc and icpc? oh i guess to hunt down opponents of third term?

And what about the other allegations? why have u not answered the Lagos state fund that was seized for 4 good years?

What about transcorp

what about the presidential jet they bought as brand news but they were actually tokunbo?

why did he sell Block 246 to the Indian conglomerate?

who is the largest share holder in Arik air?

So you actually think Obj was strong enough to find corruption between 1999 to 2003 Even when he had to beg Atiku in 2003 to allow him to seek re-election despite knowing how he had crippled BPE and PTDF.when did EFCC become active ?

Quote from parnassus.

To that is the major point.
OBJ may be good to mock but in all truthfullness the man set some very steady foundations for SOMEONE ELSE TO DEVELOP ON. I hate Yaradua cos he inherited a much beta Nigeria than he left. IBB is just the embodiment of evil and wrong. I love OBJ, I don't think many could have done beta in his shoes, it mustn't have been easy all those dogs scrambling for positions to gorge themselves on and he keeping them at bay. I still no gree say the Otta farmer stole TOO MUCH or any degree comparable to IBB's.

@ Parnassus dont get it twisted on the bolded Yaradua left a better Nigeria than he met it.

The courts were rendered incapacitated, everyone felt the only way to get issues resolved is by taking laws into their hands but Yaradua showed us otherwise by obeying all court injuctions and rulings he tried building institutions.

The man never gave his word and went back on it at least we can see that in the petrol prices and before you run on the state of emergency he was supposed to declare in the power sector it was because of the level of corruption in the power sector that made him soft pedal.

If anyone is to be considered as Father of Modern Nigeria pls it has to be Yaradua.

That everyone is looking forward to the 2011 elections is because of Yaraduas stand for free and credible elections.

Please this thread is about two devils please dont bring a genuine angel into it and please change ur orientation abt Yaradua there is no point hating a man who died trying his best for this country.

I had to do this to correct the notion that he destroyed the foundation Obj laid, what foundation are u talking abt, the increase in VAT, fuel prices just two weeks to his exit, a foundation of witheld lagos N30b after a court ruled it illegal, an election that didnot make Yaradua a proud victor, power sector in shambles after $16b, Benin-Ore road awarded 5 times and yet no work done, Abeokuta-Lagos expressway via Otta where the funds have been approved and paid 100% and J Berger not havin the money. Please spare Yaradua, he left Nigeria better than he met it that was why the northerners have not been able to do anything to Jonathan!!!
