l read 'the trembling stars'; l kind of got an incline of a part of the 'mechanics' of how spiritual stuffs happen...or work.that one is to be born on the other side! in the "far flung worlds of the cosmic kingdom"...plus that statement sparked a deja vou, which l know it was in a long long dream l had about that particular book passage or maybe its just a preview of an inner world experience to come...

last night l had a dream...wasn't that 'cute' ...but very significant! ln the dream l happen to take some worm expelling drugs...and worms where coming out from my mouth and everywhere...you know and I'll fling them into a fire close by. what l observe is that if l try to force them out, they refuse to come out...and l sense its dangerous if they cut! so l'wud cup both of my hands to trick them out, and into the fire they go!

in my little knowledge of stomach worms; they feed on the nutrients from blood in our bodies, thereby depriving us of essential nutrition ...theoretically speaking! so converting that to spirituality, negative traits in us--the Five Passions--they do just that! and l didn't just notice...but its something l knew.

in the mean time l'll go get some worm medicine, perhaps the two hands l cupped in the dream means it works both ways...l even feel a prick in my stomach...maybe its the worms . Anyways its a good dream. Goodmorning ...and thanks once again @ obi1 for that Passage!!

The whole teachings of Eckankar centres around Experiencing the Holy Spirit. ECK simply means Holy Spirit and ANKAR means the way. so ECKANKAR simply means the way of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is not a person.

It is the second cause. God of course being the first cause. It is God in expression. through the Avenue of the Holy Spirit all life was brought into manifestation. in It we live, move and have our being.

there is only one way back to God and that is through the avenue of the Holy Spirit. It is the Holy Spirit that is the reservoir of all truth. that is why Jesus said to his disciples that he has to go so that they can experience the Holy Spirit which will lead them to all truth.

the Holy Spirit can be seen as a light and heard as a sound with the spiritual eyes and the spiritual ears. this occurred during the pentecost when the apostles experienced it as tongues of fire on each of their heads and they heard the sound as a rushing wind.

these experience are the emphasis in Eckankar. this is the experience that tranforms a weakling into a blazing, bold channel for God. and today people are still having these experiences and having their lives changed for good. the Holy spirit searches your heart and does not discriminate and it is not the sole preserve of any religion. It is there for all life and always ready to open the vistas of truth to the questing soul when he or she is ready for it.

that is why it is a contemplation seed. you are to take the passage into contemplation and seek answers to any questions within while listening for answers from the Holy Spirit.

actually becoming an instrument of God's love is a personal choice which is up to the individual soul. but all the same that is our destiny as soul to become pure channels for the love of God to flow into all the worlds. unfortunately many souls prefer to walk the path of power instead of love. human beings find it difficult to love because they are not opening themselves up to the Holy spirit to come in and make them better individuals.

the methodology in linking up to the Holy Spirit differs from one religion to another and it is what marks the spiritual core of any religion. without this link up and connection to the Holy Spirit a religion is practically dead because it has nothing to offer except words for people to debate and argue over.

in ECKANKAR, doing the spiritual exercises on a daily basis, the most basic one being the singing of the HU, a love song to God helps in opening up soul to the inflow of the Holy Spirit and you find yourself loving life naturally. also singing the spiritual words found in other religions as a love song will also open your heart to love. spiritually charged words like JESUS, GOD, CHRIST, ALLAH etc when sung as a love song with your eyes closed and your attention placed on the spiritual eyes which is the space between the 2 eyebrows will also raise your spiritual vibration and open you up to the inflow of the Holy Spirit. you can experience the Holy Spirit as a light or a sound which comes in various forms.

this is the practical aspect of religion. not the words or the arguments or counter arguments. do the spiritual exercises, go within and experience God for yourself and become the knower.

that is the way souls can start becoming instruments for the love of God and evil will naturally wither away. but of course the choice still remains in the hands of the individual souls.
