Earth is a classroom that brings about
the spiritual maturity of Soul. When Its
education is completed, It must decide
for Itself what belongs to the realm of
timeless truth and what is merely a
subterfuge—a shadow of truth.

As we give of ourselves, of our
patience and love, to someone else
who needs it more, something changes
inside us. Something flows in, a flow of
good feeling. A spiritual upliftment
occurs both in us and in the person
receiving the love.

People with a high state of
consciousness are not frozen into
inaction by terror brought about
through disasters. They immediately
make a plan to turn the negative
energy to advantage. At this level of
creative imagination, Soul is in a
condition of survival. The lesson of the
worlds of matter is to develop Soul’s
ability to ride the crests of life. This is
vairag, detached love.

Truth does not operate in a vacuum.
People who’ve been touched by truth
try to express it in their daily lives:
within their family, business, or

The very heart of the ECK doctrine is love. This love is that divine essence which unites all reality and brings together all Souls. The higher Soul goes into the other worlds the greater this becomes. Love is the bond which holds the worlds together. It is the living ECK, the spirit of the Sugmad.

The marriage bond can only be sacred if it is sacred to the two individuals who have agreed to this union. If they are one in heart, how can they be divided?

A true marriage has commitment by each person. Both realize the responsibility of that commitment. A marriage of the heart lets each of the couple remain an individual, but the two are as one.

Love is the keystone of the works of ECK. Without it no chela can enter into the heavenly kingdom. There is one direct command and that is to love one's fellowman and to love God more. Whosoever can measure up to this standard shall be ready for the kingdom of God.

Hi benodic, i recently met a former eckist. Upon querying him on why he left eckankar despite the fact he believed Eck teachings, he said that it requires a very high level of discipline to grow spiritually in Eck which was difficult for him. He also said that as you grow in Eck practise, you become more and more detached from this world as you become more and more aware in the spiriual plane. I'd like to hear your comments on this.

what he told you is the truth. ECK Teachings are for mature Souls. those who are ready to make the journey back to God in this lifetime. it is not a matter of making noise about it or shouting at the roof tops about truth. truth is a life to be lived while manifesting the God qualities that is already in you and once you put your hands on the plough there is no looking back.

But what is the point or what are the benefits of making a Journey back to God in this lifetime?

the first question should be why are we here? what is the point of living on earth and moving from birth to old age and death? is it just to exist, have fun and at the end make do with whatever we see when we leave the earth theatre? the answer to the questions i raised also answers the question you raised

we are all souls created in the image and likeness of God. in us lies all the qualities of God but in a latent state. for us to fully realize our God-like qualities we were sent down to the lower universes were we pass through the furnace of birth and rebirth until we achieve full maturity and then make the journey back to God where we came from.

the benefits of making this journey is that you achieve total freedom from the cycle of birth and rebirth and you become a master in your own right and can chose to serve God in any capacity in any plane of existence while fully expressing all the God qualities that are within you for the good of all life.
but of course not every body is ready or even interested in making this journey because they are still attracted to the passing shows that are prevalent in the lower universes. it all comes down to the choice of the individual soul in any particular lifetime.

How do someone become a member of eckankar. I find it difficult to remember dream and experience, what do you think I should do. What is the important of initiation and what will they consider before initiating someone.
