They know guys are looking for wives too though. It is all reverse psychology. Creating artificial scarcity by withholding commitment and acting uninterested in it. That way women go about thinking they need it most and have to do everything to get it, as well as maintain the marriage. It works for them because the marriage pressure comes later and they have no "biological clock"' to contend with.
