1) LACK OF THE FEAR OF GOD: Those who have made up their minds to abstain from premarital sex do so not because of the lack of opportunity or absence of temptation.They abstain not because of the fear of sexually transmitted diseases or the fear of unwanted pregnancies but because of the fear of God.
When faced with sexual temptations they ask like Joseph,"how can I do this great wickedness and sin against God?"
Those who yield to sexual immorality have lost the fear of God

2) LACK OF THE POWER TO SAY NO:
Whether you like it or not, you will be faced with sexual temptations.You don't even have to look for it,it will come looking for you.The Question is when it comes do you have the power to resist?This is where the grace of God comes into play.

4) PREMATURE INTIMATE RELATIONSHIP WITH THE OPPOSITE SEX
Most teenagers enter into intimate relationships which they are emotionally immature to handle.What is a student that is still studying Homeconomics and basic science doing with dating? The boy cannot even feed himself and he is thinking of relationship.And when the hormones begin to rage like wide fire,they will find themselves on the bed of immorality.
No wonder there is an alarming rate of teenage pregnancies today.

5) SELFISHNESS: People give in to premarital sex because of what they stand to gain.Some students sell their bodies for grades.Some give their body in exchange for money and some do it for the pleasure it brings.
But we should never forget that we must give account for what we do to our bodies.
Don't flagrantly disobey God's command for selfish reasons.
