Please give us a logical way of reclaiming it

If we were NOT Black people we would find means to get back Bakassi.

But Black people cannot BUILD. Only DESTROY.

We can talk and talk, but NO ACTION.

The concept of Nigeria and most African nations is similar to Yoruba nation or Zulu nation invading ,Colonizing and merging Swedes,Irish,Norwegian,Scottish,Welsh as one country. That fact alone is extremely humiliating and disgraceful.Instead of decolonization and working towards true independent federalism, they prefer to maintain the same system.
If you talk they'll say you don't want "peace and Unity". Let's continue reinforcing our enslavement in the name of " Peace and Unity".

Bakassi peninsula was given away as a reward for Cameroon helping to blockage Biafra during the civil war. When Nigerian Government tried to claim it back, Cameroon threatened to expose so many things about Nigeria and the civil war. In addition, they reached out to France for military intervention if Nigeria tried to take it back by force.

Nigeria, having the weaker hand was forced to give it up.
so the British who happened to own Nigeria did nothing?
Maybe it was the British that reached agreement with France to use Cameroon puppets to achieve their mundane goal.
Pre Independence,France cut out adamawa to British northern Nigeria to make the north larger while the British returned the favor by cutting out southern Cameroon to make the south smaller in order to meet up with the evil designs of the British.
Where the north will be elevated to a proper house niggar since the north have proved good boys.

Obj wanted to win the Nobel peace prize. That was why he gave it out. Also from what I learnt, Nigeria's legal representation was not the best. According to Prof. Oyebode, we didn't present our first 11.

Bakassi Peninsula was sold by General Yakubu Gowon to Cameroon in 1968. Yes, Yakubu Gowon in August 1968, had been requested by Ahmadu Ahidjo, the then President of Cameroon to sell part of Nigeria, especially the Bakassi Peninsula to Cameroon as the condition for supporting Nigeria to win the civil war against Biafra. Recall that before then, Bakassi was used as the outlet to the Atlantic to bring in food to the Easterners. The then Finance Minister, the very Obafemi Awolowo had asked Gowon: how long do you continue to feed your enemies?

Rattled by the question, Gowon, Murtala Mohammed, Olusegun Obasanjo, Martin Adamu, Theophilus Danjuma, Hassan Katsina with the tacit approval of Sultan Mohammed II and Ado Bayero, the Emir of Kano swung into action. Gowon wanting to score a point did not even discuss this with the then Supreme Military Counsel, though they quietly approved of it.

He contacted Alhamadu Ahidjo, and the Meeting was scheduled in Marua Town of Southern Cameroon in August 1968, that day Gowon, using stone, standing on Cameroon side “threw a stone” saying that wherever the stone landed should be given to Cameroun, west ward to the Peninsula. The stone landed at the very point of entry of the Peninsula called Reo Del Ree.

Hence, General Yakubu Gowon, on the advice of Obafemi Awolowo, used a stone to sell Bakassi Peninsula to Cameroon. Others is history.
you knew these things to the very details

Bakassi peninsula wont ever be oart of Nigeria again, it is the price Nigeria paid for getting Cameroon to close its borders to Biafra during the civil war.

Bakkasi is gone
why will the evil gowon care when giving away bakassi will make the south smaller?
Gowon who fought war because Buckingham wanted him to fight war.

Is there a possibility of revisiting the Bakassi case? All lands are valuable, and that land is a valuable piece of Calabar(Akwacross).
In this day and age where countries like Singapore and the likes are doing all they can to reclaim hectares of land from the ocean and rivers, why should Nigeria so easily forfeit that land to Cameroon? And now that peninsular actually falls under the now secessionist Ambazonia . And in fact,I just discovered there's a Bakassi secessionist movement either from Cameroon or Ambazonia (if successful) . All street and town names on the island are Calabarian names ,plus a few other historical artifacts and events . The judgement surrounding the forfeiture of the land to Cameroon remains sketchy .
Do you think there may be a possibility of ever retrieving Bakassi based on factual and reasonable evidence ? I think it can be retrieved, though It remains to be seen.

Both of you are so wrong! I wish my post was on the first page. Bakassi peninsula NEVER belonged to Nigeria.

It has been settled at the ICJ with FACTS! I blame our judiciary for making the nation spend so much resources on legal fees even when they knew the truth (unless they were grossly misinformed)

All that talk about Nigeria giving Cameroun Bakassi for their support during the civil war is tantamount to "beer parlour Intel". Please stop saying this. I was fed the same BS when I was younger, but I am glad I know better today

Bakassi belongs to the rightful owners now.

It is too late to take back Bakassi. Obasanjo is a coward who only flaunts his military credentials when he wants to withdraw political support from a sitting Nigerian president who he doesn't like. When Cameroon took over Bakassi, Obasanjo cowardly depopulated the Peninsula and carried Bakassi indigenes to mainland Cross River State where he carved out a new local government area for them from an existing local government. Nigeria was not bound to obey that dubious judgement but Obasanjo who is a CIA asset always longed to please his paymasters.
abdusalami abubakar is also CIA asset.

Nigeria is safer like this, and let's forget about Bakassi Peninsula. My reasons is because we have gotten lots of issues in oil producing areas, if the now peaceful Bakassi oil rich area is added, we'll start having more problems in our hands. Moreover, what have we done with the oil we have in Niger Delta region in Nigeria. My advice to the Bakassi people, is that they should please forget about the peninsula.
