When you have a regime that swims in terrorism, sharia and human rights abuse, and tried to challenge America's authority as world police at one time, things like Visa ban is what you get. A regime that does not give a crap about the security of it's own people will certainly not be taken serious by the international community.
Nigeria (pariah state) today is a security risk to America thanks to buhari's directionless regime, hence the visa ban.
The only way to reverse the visa ban is for BUHARI TO RESIGN! Apart from terrorism, he has NOTHING to offer.
#BuhariMustResign

Dude take it easy. Lai Mo & Femi Adesina will soon cheer us all up.

They will tell us Trump imposed the ban because Nigeria is now El Dorado. Trump doesn't see why we should be flocking to the US when Buhari has fulfilled ALL his promises and Nigerian masses are now swimming in wealth and comfort. Only dirt poor Africans should be going to USA. Nigerians are too rich to now qualify to go. grin cheesy

You know that things are no longer at ease when Nigeria is named along with other failed states like North Korea, Afghanistan, and Somalia as banned from the US. Sooner or later other Western countries would follow suit. Nigeria claims to be the giant of Africa but that's nothing but an illusionary mantra. It has absolutely nothing going for it other than its population, which a lot of people would argue is not a great thing. Other smaller countries in Africa, such as Ghana has more respect than Nigeria would ever get again. The rulers (not leaders) of this country ought to be very ashamed of themselves for the dire condition the country is in. I feel sorry for the citizens because they are not respected both at home and abroad...they are pariahs in the comity of nations.

Other Western Kini? Are they not already codedly rejecting us? Soon even Saharawi Republic still fighing for freedom will be rejecting us. I wonder why Rwanda has not banned us yet. Because 25 years after war & genocide there, they have moved ahead in leaps and bounds.

Dubai/UAE should just follow sharp sharp and seize all the stolen money and assets our politicians and elite kept there. Including Snake & Press-Up Lt. Gen. Buratai's houses there. cheesy cheesy grin grin

Trump just expanded his racist, xenophobic Muslim Ban to ban 6 more countries—including Nigeria, the most populous nation in Africa.

Congress must pass the NO BAN Act. And if they don’t, I’ll reverse the Muslim Ban on the first day of my presidency. https://www.reuters.com/article/us-usa-immigration-ban/trump-to-expand-travel-ban-to-six-additional-countries-u-s-official-idUSKBN1ZU2WD

I wonder how on Earth some Zombie IPOB members never receive brain this new year.
In 2015, the IPOB campaign strategy was "Don't vote Buhari, he is from Sudan, he will Islamize Nigeria". You guys were in pain and cried after the election.
In 2019, the IPOB campaign strategy was "Buhari is dead and replace by Jubril el-Sudan". After the election, Severe pain and High Blood Pressure became your sickness.
Why can't u learn from your mistakes and change your politics. If u continue this way(politics of Bitterness, hatred, and Tribalism, Igbos might not have the chance of becoming president in Nigeria.

Oboy see hatred. Anyway there is no love lost between Buhari and south easterners. It started even before he won his first term.

You guys can exaggerate for Africa, even the whole world. Nigeria has had sharia and human rights abuse issues even before Buhari dreamt of being president. It was because of human rights abuse during the Jonathan regime that the US and it's allies refused to sell any arms to Nigeria.
There is no blanket visa ban, what was banned was immigrant visa. Nigeria was removed from the DV lottery program during the regime of Jonathan.
The reason the US gave for the visa ban was not because of terrorism or sharia. The reason given was that the Nigerian government does not share information, especially criminal records about its citizens applying for immigrant visa. This is the reason for all the countries in this visa ban. At least you should be aware that other countries affected by the ban like Eritrea, Sudan, Tanzania and Kyrgyzstan don't have sharia or terrorist issues.

Believe me the ban would not affect Buhari or children of the elite, most already have US citizenship or other from other western nations with easy access to the US. It's the average struggling nigerians looking for a better life in the US that would be affected.

Those misguided fanatics that burnt US flag would never apply for a US visa not to talk of thinking of immigrating to the US. The visa ban would most affect southern Nigerians wishing to immigrate to the US.

I can't agree with you more. Give it time, all other African countries besides South Africa and Ghana would place a ban on Nigerians coming to their country.

Some kids here with their tiny brains praising trump for his racist decision to ban Nigerian immigrants.

Nigerians are one of the best educated immigrant groups. 17 percent of Nigerians in the US hold a master's degree while 4 percent have a doctorate. The corresponding numbers for white Americans are 8 percent and 1 percent.

Trump has made disparaging comments about African nations in the past, complaining that Nigerians who entered the United States on visas would never “go back to their huts.”. He is a racist white supremacist asshole whose entire domestic & foreign policy has been based on reversing everything the first black American president did.

Fifteen of the 19 '9/11' plane hijackers were citizens of Saudi Arabia, two were from the United Arab Emirates, one from Lebanon, and one from Egypt. None of their citizens has been placed on a travel ban list but Nigerians that have been a net positive to America gets put on a list. Madness!

Nigerians and their nonsensical reasoning! Most people here speak on things they know nothing about. Trump’s travel ban is about controlling and limiting the amount of black people immigrating to America. This has nothing to do with Buhari or Security. Atiku, is an idiot.
